chapter six: time

Sarada woke to an empty room which she was use to by now. Sakiyuki stayed busy with assignments and spent her mornings with Orochi. She dressed and left the room but the estate was more quiet then usual. Sarada looked around but couldn't find a maid or any sight of Ko. After wondering around she eventually found the foyer where paintings of past famous Uchiha and Hyuga hung. She looked at all the Uchiha photos and paused when she saw her uncle Itachi. She stared at him. "Did your father speak of him?" Sarada jumped at Sasuke's voice. "Alittle yes..." She replied. "Hinata took the children to visit their grandparents. We are alone. Do you wish to train?" He asked making her smile. "I appreciate it but... Why are you doing this? It's not going to make a difference... When I awake from this dream or whatever you want to call it it's not going to change anything. Not how much my dad is gone or how busy my mom is... Its life." She stated. "I'm not doing this because your parents are terrible in fact I'm sure they are doing the best they can, giving the situation and what's going on in your world. You are an Uchiha therefore it is my job to train you but if you rather do something else go on, it does not matter to me." "So... It's not pity...?" Sarada asked. Sasuke scoffed. "Pity... I do not pity..." She gave a small smile. "Asahi and Yuhi both take after you in that regard." "They are both antisocial, quiet and cold but Yuhi is more shy yet brutal in a fight while Asahi is more impulsive yet distant. It's interesting considering their personalities." She gave a nod. "I understand... Let us train."

Boruto woke to Rakurai drawing on his face. Rakurai laughed and ran out of the room when he began to stir before Boruto got up with a mumble. He sluggishly walked into the kitchen for breakfast only to have Sakura and Nobara giggle. "What?" He asked rubbing his eye trying to wake up. "Nothing... Here." Sakura said putting his plate on the table. Rakurai soon joined. "We are going to see grandma and grandpa today." Boruto began to play with his food but didn't say anything. "Dad is letting a clone deal with paper work so he's off and still asleep. You should go wake him." Rakurai suggested. Boruto sighed and got up after eating. "Fine... Whatever..." Boruto went into the room Naruto and Sakura shared. Naruto was sprawled out on the bed snoring. Boruto rolled his eyes. "Hey get up!" He shook him making him mutter and sit up. "Come eat." He voiced. Naruto blinked a few time as he looked at Boruto before he began to laugh. "Rai got you!" Boruto was confused at first then looking at his reflection in the nearby dresser mirror. "Ah! Rai!" He called annoyingly. He looked at the doodle of a sleeping person with sleeping beauty and Sir snores a lot written on his face. Naruto sighed happily "That was good... It will wash off it was just a prank. So what do you wanna do today? Sakura is taking Nobara and Rakurai to visit her parents." "You aren't going?" He asked. "No. I had drinks with her dad last night. Sakura and her mom are are talking baby shower stuff while the kids play with her dad. He likes teaching corny jokes and playing games with them. So that just leaves me and you what ya wanna do?" Naruto replied with a smile. Boruto thought a moment and shrugged.

Mitsuki led the small group of scientist and Chunin to where the cave he and his team took shelter in during war of the storms but it was a long journey back. "I'm not picking up anything yet..." He voiced. Mitsuki glanced at them and their science gear. They weren't even close to the cave, they were just out of hidden leaf village territory but Mitsuki knew they were only doing their job and trying to help them get back home. Mitsuki looked at all the sights he passed, he wondered if Shirayuri was waiting for him to train with her. They were practically family in her eyes and he had no relationship like the one he had with her, he wasn't close to his brother and kissed her smiling face when she listened to him talk. He thought it was bitter sweet. "Could this really just be a dream i thought of..." He whispered to himself in wondered. He thought of Kabuto and Ayame. He wasn't necessarily very close to Kabuto in his world but he was on good terms with him. "If this is a dream why would I create something like this...? Is my mind trying to tell me something?" He sighed and glanced back at the others, they weren't listening to him they were too busy trying to figure out what was going on as they traveled. Mitsuki gave a small smile. He was traveling with strangers to the cave to see if the theory was true or not it was the only way they had and it seemed kind of desperate and them to him but they had no choice they no other ideas of what to do which led him to led them to the cave. They the only took a break when the scientist requested it. Mitsuki glanced around. he didn't feel like they're getting any closer but the surroundings proved him wrong.
