chapter 10: warm greetings

They walked through the cave together and it began to rain. Boruto looked at his teammates, the rain seemed to come out of no where. "It's just like that day..." Mitsuki voiced. They waited for the rain to die down anxiously. Hidama and Hibana played in the puddles. Minku slept. Sarada sat next to Nejireru who read to Shinsuke while the twins sat next to each other hands intertwined. Sakiyuki stood near her mother in silence watching the younger children play. Boruto watched the ran pour then huffed and looked at Rakurai who was writing. "Found inspiration in this nasty weather?" He simply nodded but said nothing he was too focused on his book making Boruto huff again. "He's in the zone. It's best to leave him be during times like this." Nobara claimed with a smile. "He has a bright future in the field he is going into. I'm really proud of him for finding his own path. It might not be exciting or flashy as becoming Hokage to many people but it's his path that he found all on his own." Boruto gave a nod. "I wish I could see what he will become..." Nobara touched his shoulder. "I wish I could see what you will become. You have such potential." He smiled awkwardly and rubbed his neck. "yeah?" "As soon as you stop whining about everything and grow up." She winked at him playful and stuck her tongue out making him frown. Naruto and Sakura smiled at them.  Shirayuri giggle and Orochi gave a sigh. "I'm glad we will be seeing you off." Mitsuki gave a nod. "As am I." The rain seemed to last longer then Sarada remembered making her feel alittle anxious. She adjusted her glasses and looked at Sasuke who held Minku. She stared at him a moment before looking at Hinata who stood contently next to her husband. "Are you taking us to our village?" "No we don't want to cause trouble by showing up don't ya know. We just want to make sure you get back to your world." Naruto voiced. Boruto huffed, "that sucks... I kind of wanted you too met my old man and talk to him." Naruto ruffled his hair, "you can tell him. Talk to him man to man." Boruto huffed again but said nothing else. Sekigetsu took a nap while in rained but was soon nudged awake by Nobara when the rain stopped. "Let's go water sprite." He muttered as he woke and did as she asked. The group walked out but stopped short right outside the cave.

The adults stared at the others from the other world as if they were staring at a shadow clone. Sakura, Naruto, Karin stared at the group. Sakura eyed herself then looked at her daughter wondering if it was real. "Mama... They are from an alternate universe. Accidentally wandered into one during a storm from our mission." Sakura hugged her daughter immediately, "I'm glad your safe. When you didn't come back Naruto asked Karin to track your Chakra." Karin adjusted her glasses, glad that Sarada was safe then stared at the red headed boy with the same face as the person she hated. "you boy who do you belong to." Sekigetsu smirked and closed one of his eyes. "Karin and Suigetsu... You to bicker like an old married couple but hate fuck often. That's how i was created." Karin turned blood red and fainted. Nobara elbowed him, "great job." He rubbed his neck, "sorry..." Naruto rubbed his head and stared at the Naruto with longer hair. They smiled at each other. "Thanks for taking care of Boruto for me. He can be a handful don't ya know but he's a good kid." "He is a good kid. Don't miss him and his sister growing up. You'll regret it." Naruto seemed stunned by the other Naruto's word before giving a nod. "Right." Boruto stood by his father with crossed arms but said nothing knowing it was best to talk later. Sakura looked at the other her, her long pink hair and housewife clothes made her sigh. "Don't give me that disappointed look!" Sakura pointed at her. "I'm head of the hospital and mother just as you! I just choice to wear comfortable clothes when I'm not working besides being pregnant means I can wear my comfy clothes more." Sakura was shocked then smiled. "Oh... right..." She looked at Sasuke and blushed, he looked just as good looking as her husband that she rarely saw. She was shocked he was with Hinata and had a mini clan of their own. "wow..." Sasuke didn't acknowledge her but approched Sarada. "Take care." Sarada gave a nod. She hugged all the Uchiha-Hyuga children. Mitsuki watched the happy reunion between the families and smiled at Kabuto. "I do hope to come back to visit." "As do I." He received hugs from the family before going to stand next to Boruto. "we'll need to barrow Boruto to return to our world. We just wanted to make sure he got home safe." Nobara voiced. "Right... Go on. Everyone needs to get back to where they belong." Boruto huffed but did as need. He stood back in the cave with the others and walked them disappear through the other side.
