Chapter 5 : the picnic

Joe pov:

we headed back to the house and I let Carina have the bed and I took the couch. As I lay there I keep think about what happen in the café , but I'm glad that Carina is okay. The next morning I got up and made some breakfast for me and Carina , as I was making food I hear snow walking into the kitchen . after I finish making the food , I got snow some food and went to get Carina.

Carina pov;

I was awoken by snow jumping off the bed , so i decided to get up. I went to the bathroom and got ready for the day. I went to me suit case and got out my outfit for today .

Then I head down to the kitchen " morning " said Joe " morning Joe" I said as I sat down and started eating the food . " what are we going to do today " I ask him " well today we are going to the picnic and you get meet everyone that you haven't met yet " he said as he cleaned up the dishes. After the dishes were clean , we headed to the picnic and these two girls can up to me and joe. One of them was Olivia and the other one introduced herself and said her name was Fiji. " you feeling better today" asked Olivia " yeah, I feel much better" I said as I felt Joe arm around my waist " Olivia, let her be , she new to midnight" said Joe . We walk to the picnic tables were and Joe went to talk to Bobo " Olivia told me that you're Lem niece" Fiji ask me " yeah, but my grandma never told me about this town and she never told me that I had a uncle " I said as I threw a ball for snow. " I can't believe she brought him here " said Olivia as she walked towards me and Fiji.

" that's the new guy  and who is the girl with" I said and then I hear snow barking . " that's Creek" said Fiji . " I going to get snow" I said as I ran in the direction snow was barking. I came to the river and I see snow barking at something. As I got closer I saw a dead body and I screamed as loud as I can. I fall to the ground and I hear footsteps behind me. " carina, are you okay " asked joe " there's a dead body down there " I said as snow came running towards me. " Olivia, stay with her " Joe said as he jump down the hill towards the body.

I was holding snow and trying not to look at the body . I look over and I see the new guy acting weird as he was looking at the body . Then I hear someone calling the police and when I looked at him I got a small vision with him in it.

" carina let's get you up " said Joe as he helped me up . " thanks " I said and then Fiji ran to me " are you okay " she asked " yeah , I fine , just a little light headed " I said as i hold on to joe . Soon the police came and they investigating the crime scene.

After they were done , they were asking questions and told us not to leave town . As me and joe were about to walk to the car , the police lady came up to us " you're new to town " she asked " yes, I am " I said and then she was asking me if I knew the victim and I told her I didn't. We finally reach the car and we headed back to town . I headed in the house with joe and I told joe I'm going to get ready for bed . As soon as I left the room there was a knock on the front door. Joe opens the door and there was Olivia "Lem want to know if Carina could join him for dinner tonight " she said . I walk back into the room " tell Lem i will be glad to join him dinner " I said and then Olivia left .' Joe close the door and asked if I had a vision today " I did , but it was a little one " I said as I headed to the bed room " I will wake you up in a couple of hours " joe said as he closed the door. I was difting of to sleep and I was thinking what could possibly happen next.
