Sam's P.O.V.

We only got suspended for a few days, and Ciel's father had to pay the medical bills for Daivd's arm. But other than that we weren't in a lot of trouble. Ciel swapped numbers and he had told me he would call me.

It was the second day of suspension when I started to stare at my phone waiting for a call from him. "Honey! Do you want lunch?!" My mother yelled at me. I yelled back, "No thank you!" I heard her stomp up the stairs and stand outside of my room. "You need to eat." I looked back over to my phone. "I'm not hungry." My mom huffed and went back into the kitchen. I looked a little bit longer then sighed, as I laid down it started to vibrate. I shot up and grabbed it. Ciel's name was pulsing across the screen. My hands suddenly got sweaty and I answered.

"Hello." Ciel was the first to speak. "Hey." I wasn't sure what we were going to talk about. Maybe he had something planned, I sure didn't. "Sup'." Yeah I sounded really smart. "Sebastian made me call you. But this is from me, would you like to come over to my house sometime? You seem like a rather pleasant person." I laughed nervously, "That sounds aweso- wonderful!" I felt that I needed a decent vocabulary around this kid. "Alright, we can chose a date later." I nodded and then said, "Uh haha you can't see me." There was a pause. "No I can't." Duh! He couldn't see me nodding! "I should go, I have dinner to attend to. Goodnight." "Yeah, goodnight." And we hung up.

I laid back down and smiled at my ceiling. I was acting like an idiot and I was enjoying it. As I was in the middle of reveling in the joy of a new friend my door slammed open. "Give me your computer and phone." It was my mother and father. "Why?" I hadn't been on YouTube in a week, why were they getting onto me? "We don't want you talking to that new kid at school." My mouth fell open. "Why not!?" They only glared at me. "Can I check my phone and make sure I don't have any messages?" My mother nodded.

As fast as I could I switched Ciel's name and David's name in my contact list. My mother held out her hand and I placed my phone on her palm. "Happy?" "Don't talk to me like that. Go finish your homework." And they left my cell room.

Truth was that I was already done with my homework. "I guess I will set out my outfit for tomorrow.... something warmer." I laid out some skinny jeans and a navy blue sweater with a long sliver necklace. I wanted to just wear a hoodie but that was acceptable.
