Ciel's P.O.V.
Sam and I would talk at my locker and in class sometimes but I felt she was growing farther away from me. She was drifting back over to her group of friends. David and the other guys no longer sat with the girls. David never spoke to me, only glared. The one time I glared back he stepped back into a teacher. I enjoy his pain. As he enjoys everyone else's.
At the end of a Thursday Sam walked up to my locker. She looked to be in a sour mood. "Sam are you alright?" She huffed. "What is it?" Sam looked at the ground and said, "I got a B on my science test." I scoffed. "You got a B?! And you're complaining?" I could safely say that I was failing every class. I didn't like the work so I didn't do it. I preferred the way Sebastian taught me. Sebastian lectured me every night about how I should try to make good grades so I wouldn't have to go to summer school. I always tried reasoning with him, but everyday he would bring me back to this building. But I enjoyed seeing Sam.
Sam twirled a lock of hair around her finger, "I could tutor you sometime if you think that would help." I wanted to spend more time with her but I didn't want her to see that. I considered any kind of affection a weakness. I could very well use anything she said against her. "Hey Ciel?" I looked at her. "Yes Sam?" "I want to hang out with you more often." I was shocked. I was trying not to smile. "I think that would be nice, and you could help me with my school work." She smiled largely. "When would you like to get together?" She asked. I blurted out, "This Friday night?" She smiled even bigger. "Yes."

That afternoon as I climbed into the car I couldn't help but smile. I smiled as big as she had. "You seem to be in a decent mood Master." I leaned my head back. "Today wasn't to terrible. Sebastian I have something for you to do." Sebastian smirked. "What is it you want?" I looked out the window. "Prepare the house for a guest Friday night." Sebastian glanced over to me. "This guest wouldn't happen to be that girl now would it?" I smiled again. "I will take that as a yes then Young Master."
