Sam's P.O.V.
That was the longest Friday of my life. I was thrilled to be going over to Ciel's house. I hoped he was just a normal kid like me. I hadn't ever asked about his home life. I wonder what his parents were like. All of my questions were going to be answered that night.
When the bell rung at three'o clock I hastily walked to my locker, threw my backpack in, and half ran to Ciel's locker. He was standing there waiting... for me. I smiled and he half grinned. "Hey!" I said almost to excited. "Hello, are you ready?" I nodded. "Did you ask your parents if you could get in the car with me though?" I nodded again. I did ask but I got yelled at. I talked them into it. I wasn't going to miss this chance. "Alright then. We should get going." Ciel started to walk away. I didn't move, then he turned around and motioned for me to come along. I took a brisk walk to him. "Ready?" "Yes!" "Good."
Ciel's car pulled into the parking lot and he opened the back door for me. Ciel's father didn't look anything like him. Was Ciel adopted? I was curious so I asked. "Are you Ciel's dad?" Ciel looked at me then at his - what I thought to be father - then back at me. The man smirked. "No no, um. I'm not quite sure what you call him. He's my butler and his name is Sebastian." Without looking away from the road Sebastian said, "Very nice to meet you finally, Sam. I have heard a bit about you." Ciel's ears turned pink and he cleared his throat. "So... you're his butler? Aren't you two friends or anything?" "Not really." Said Ciel.
He was right. I was soon to find out that they were something closer than friends, but something horribly morbid.
