Siren's P.O.V

(At sea the next day)

Crewmen are scrubbing the deck of the Black Pearl.

I struck the post of the ship again and pull my sword out practicing on it. I smile at myself deciding to make this fun, "You sir will give Will Turner back." I say.

"Who am I well just the best pirate you've ever seen, now Will Turner?" I say, and pause.

"Or what you might ask, well be prepared to face the coldness of my blade." I say, and lunge at the post hitting it a few times, I cut a rope from the rig pretending it's someones arm.

"Ha Ha-"

I get knocked to the deck in the back, I look up to see a pulley swinging there. I stand rubbing my back "Ok you win." I say to the post, and then hear chuckling, I look up to see the man who wouldn't stop throwing up last night.

"Hey I'm working on it!" I say, and pick up my sword sheathing it "As if you could do better." I say under my breath.

"I used to be a commodore thank you very much." he says.

I look up in question "Commodore?" I ask.

He nods, I walk over wanting to hear more, I jump on a barrel as he leans against the edge of the ship.

"What was it like?" I ask full of wonder, he looks at me surprised.

"What?" I ask.

"No one's really asked what it was like." he says.

"Well i'm all ears." I say he smiles and begins his tale, of Pirates, Love, and the infamous Jack Sparrow.

This guy was gonna marry Elizabeth, kill Jack, and see the world. It made me feel bad for him most of what happened wasn't even his fault.

"But I've never seen a child handle a sword before." he says.

I'm brought out of my trace, Child, Kid, I hate those words so much. I'm more then just my age!

"I not a kid i'm 13." I say.

"Still young nonetheless." we have a moment of silence.

"On the docks and in the Tavern you were with Jack, how did you come to terms with a pirate?" he ask.

God this was gonna be hard to explain

"Well you see I'm really not from this world, I'm from the future you could say. Will Turner found me in the ocean and saved me, I met Jack when he was a cannibal chief and now i'm here." I say.

"Your parents must be worried if your not in there world."

Not this again.

"I'm an orphan, my brothers not old enough to take care of me." I say.

He looks apologetic "I'm sorry." he says, I smile "I'm use to it, trust me." he smiles and nods holding out a hand "James Norrington." he says.

That sounded like a name that wanted respect, very formal yet charming.

"Siren" I say.

"Like a Mermaid?" he ask.

"I've never thought of it like that before." I say, we both chuckle.

"I never said I was sorry." I say.

"For what?" James ask.

"For what happened to you." I say.

He face goes somber "No really your fine."

I stand on the barrel "NO it's not ok you earned what you had, it's not your fault things happen all the time. We just need to stand up holds our heads up high and find away out to the light." I say.

He smiles opening his mouth to say something.

"James." says a female voice, we turn to see Elizabeth, James stands to leave.

"James." I say to myself.

"So Will saved you and your not from this world." says Elizabeth, I sit back on the barrel crisscross and nod.

"Name's Siren and Yup that's my story." I say popping the P.

Clearly Jack filled her in on my predicament.

"But hey I wanna save Will, he so himself I can be brave just like him." I say

She smiles at me. This was my first good look at her, she had pretty long hair, fair eyes, lips, and skin. No wonder theses men like her she's beautiful.

"You remind me so much of him." she says, It was my turn to chuckle "Will said the same thing to me but about you." I say standing.

Then out of no were she hugs me, I freeze "I promise I'll get you home." she says her voice breaking a little, My head suddenly starting taking me back to that one time.

(Flash Back) No one's P.O.V

She was maybe 4 when it happened, She was in a room alone, reporters were outside wanting to interview the children of whose parents were gone without a trace but found dead on a beach in Florida, while the children were in Washington D.C.

A boy about the age of 8 pushes his way into the room to the little girl.

"Hayden?" she ask.

He had pure Green eyes and bright blonde hair he knelt and hugged the little girl crying.

"They won't let me take care of you." he says.

This broke the girl she started crying at the thought of losing her brother along with her parents.

A women then walked in she looked like part of the police, "Time to go Kid, someone will be there for your sister." she says. He hugs her one last time "I promise I'll get your home." he says before the women grabbed his arm taking him away.

The little girl didn't register what had happened until the door closed. silent tears started to fall on her little blue dress.

She hated this, she hated what was happening, she hated what that women had called her brother "Kid" Hell he was more fit to take care of her than anyone else.

Another women peaks out from behind the door "Siren it's time to go."

(Present Time) Siren's P.O.V

I start shaking a little no one has ever cared about me as much as Hayden has, and here I was in the arms so someone who I've only heard and for not that long stories about.

Elizabeth.

Will.

James.

And maybe even Jack.

They haven't even known me for that long and there willing to do whatever it takes to get me home.

I slowly wrap my arms around her tight shaking a lot, "Why are you shaking?" she ask.

I look up at her tears silently rolling down my face "Ohh." she says and holds me in her arms letting me cry into her as she pets my hair trying to calm me down.

"You've been so through so much, your very brave, you beautiful child." she says.

Child. there it was.

But this time I let it go, you know what if she wanted to call me kid or child she can, I don't mind that much.

Because here and now I finally see.

Theses people cared for me.
