Chapter Ten~

(On the ship)

Barbossa calls out orders. Jack shadows him, and repeats the orders a half-second behind, a little louder. 

"Trim that sail! Slack windward brace and sheet! Haul that pennant line!" shouts Barbossa.

"Trim that sail! Slack windward brace and sheet! Haul that pennant line!" shouts Jack. 

"What are you doing?" ask Barbossa, as Siren sits on the steps.

"The Captain gives orders on a ship."

"The Captain is giving orders."

"My ship, that makes me Captain."

"They be my charts!"

Siren couldn't take it "SHUT UP, both of you it's annoying!" she shouts, Jack and Barbossa stare at her, too incredulous to respond. "What I'd do?" she ask, she walks to below the deck to look for an apple or something "I like her spirit good pirate." says Barbossa. 

Jack steps up to the rail, and ceremoniously pulls out a telescope, the way a Captain would do it. Barbossa steps up beside him. Smirks ... pulls out a MUCH LONGER telescope. Jack stares at it, deflated. 

Will steps past them, searching the deck for Elizabeth, Will looks, finds Elizabeth, sitting alone. Below decks "You left Jack and Siren to the Kraken." says Will She looks up. She's been crying but she is relieved. "There rescued now. It's done with." she says

Will does not agree. Looks away. She stands -- "Will, I had no choice!" she shouts Will turns to her "You didn't tell me." says Will, she stands "I couldn't. It wasn't your burden to bear." says Elizabeth.  He catches her arm, pulls her around to face him. "But I did bear it. Didn't I? I just didn't know what it was. I thought ..." starts Will "You thought I loved him." says Elizabeth. 

She tries to move past him. He blocked her way. She tries to push him aside. He pushes her back, against the hull. "If you make your choices alone, how can I trust you?" he ask, she meets his gaze. "You can't." she says, he looks away from her. She ducks beneath his arm and starts to go.

"Siren! Why her!" he shouts "I never meant to I was trying to protect her!" says Elizabeth "Protect her why not take her to a long boat!" shouts Will "I thought she would be safe!!!!" shouts Elizabeth "You're not her Mother!!!!!" shouts Will "She Has No Mother And Your No Father!!!!!" she shouts "AT LEAST I PROTECTED HER FOR AS LONG AS I COULD AS A FATHER SHOULD!!!!!!" screams Will "OH AND AS IF I HAVEN'T DONE THE SAME FOR TREATING HER AS IF SHE WAS MY OWN DAUGHTER!!!!!!!" Screams Elizabeth "WELL SHE'S NOT OUR DAUGHTER!!!!!!" shouts Will. 

They hear something being knocked over and turn to see a crate fell and next to it was Siren and it looked like she was hiding, Elizabeth and Will are about to speak but she dose first "I thought I give you both another chance now I see I can't!" she shouts and starts to run away "Siren SIREN!!!" shouts Elizabeth, she runs after her but Will grabs her arm a tear rolling down his cheek, she stops and pushes past Will.

Siren's P.O.V

I didn't want to see or talk to anyone, it was night I see Will and Elizabeth join Tia Dalma at the rail. Far away boats can be seen, their own lanterns lit. Gibbs arrives at the rail, loading a rifle, lifts it to aim -- Will stops him. "No. They are not a threat to us. Am I right?" ask Will. He looks to Tia Dalma for confirmation. "We are but ghosts to them. They heed us not." says Tia, I walk to the rail as well "Best just let them be." says Barbossa.

Gibbs lowers the rifle but keeps it ready. The boats move past, an eerie, surreal sight. 

Elizabeth looks at the nearest boat, peers closer. Recognizes the passenger. "My father! We've made it back! Father, here! Look here!" she shouts Jack puts a consoling hand on Elizabeth's shoulder. "Elizabeth. We're not back yet." he says He looks her in the eye. Elizabeth stares at him -- and realization dawns. 

Her next cry is one of anguish: "Father!" IN THE BOAT, Weatherby Swann glances over. His lantern lights half his face, leaving the rest in shadow. "Elizabeth!" he exclaims.

"Are you dead?" he continues "No..." Swann nods at that. Elizabeth has to move along the rail of the Pearl, toward the stern, to keep pace with him. "I think I am." he responds "No. You can't be." says Elizabeth "There was a chest, you see ... How odd. At the time, it seemed so important." says Swann having trouble responding "Come abroad!" shouts Elizabeth and she turns to the others on the ship "Someone -- cast a line!" and she turns back to her father "Come back with us!" she shouts once more.

Crewmen prepare a line, too slowly for Elizabeth. She grabs it from them, casts it out. It lands neatly in Swann's boat, but he makes no move toward it. "And a heart, and if you stabbed the heart ... you would have to sail forever. That's how it worked. Stab the heart and take his place. The Dutchman must have a Captain. Silly thing to die for." says Swann. 

Will makes note of that. Jack makes note as well. But me it stayed in my mind. Will glances at Tia Dalma. But Tia Dalma is focused only on Will. She whispers, just loud enough for Will to hear --Due to the action of the two vessels passing, the rope begins to slip toward the edge of the boat. "Take the line!" shouts Elizabeth "Elizabeth." says Swann She gives him her full attention. "When I would reprimand you to obey rules, it was because I did not want you to ever be unhappy. But I should have recognized in your willfulness ... your courage. I am proud of you, Elizabeth." says Swann

The line is about to slip from Swann's boat. "The line! Catch the line!" cries Elizabeth The end of the line falls into the water. "Father!" His boat is near the aft of the Pearl. "Come back with us! Please! I won't let you go!" shouts Elizabeth running to the end of the ship "She must not leave the ship!" shouts Tia Elizabeth climbs the rail. Will get there slightly ahead of Jack to haul her back. Elizabeth stares after her father. Watching, helpless. Light of the boat's lantern is swallowed up by the darkness. Elizabeth turns toward Will, into his arms. He confronts her ... but his eyes drift toward Tia Dalma. "Is there a way?" ask Will Tia shakes her head 'no' I didn't run with them I just looked and stood there silent. 

Until something caught my eye one of boats had a guy in it nothing was special about it but he was wearing a Panic at the disco shirt. Did Davy Jones fry souls from my world as well when they died, "Wait a second." I say. and think they would still be stuck here.

"MOM DAD!!!!!!" I scream waiting for some answer.

"SIREN!!!!" shouts a pair of voice.....no way.

"MOM DAD!!!!!!?????" I ask "YES SIREN WERE HERE!!!!" shouts voices coming from the edge of the ship I run over standing on the edge.

"DON'T WORRY I'M COMING!!!!!!!" I shout I makes my way to the edge, "Siren?" I hear Jack ask "I can hear them my parents I'M COMING TO GET YOU!!!!" I shout taking a breath getting ready, "Siren!" shouts Will. 

I hear footsteps running and look down about to jump until I see the souls reach up at me trying to grab me, I scream and start falling backwards till I'm pulled into a pair of arms.

I cry into Will and Elizabeth as we sooth each other of our pain, once all the boats are gone Jack pulls me into a hug "I though I could save them I." I start he shakes his head "No you still have us, you still have me if we can't get you home." starts Jack he smiles a little "We promise to be the Family that was taken from you." he says, looking back to me I stare in disbelief and nod we head to bed and I had a dreamless sleep.
