Love Finds a Way ( A KionxRani Story)

~Chapter 4~

It was days after Kion and Rani talked to one other, as Beshte, Bunga, and Fuli were relaxing near a hot spring . 

"Ahh, this is the life." Beshte said, as the hippo seems to be at ease with the hot bubbly water , smoothing his scaly skin. 

Bunga said, "Yeah, nothing is better than having some heat off. It's kind of hot here in the Tree of Life. " 

Fuli nods at the honey badger, "Yeah, at least that we don't have to deal with Makucha's army every week. 

Makucha and his army constantly tries to attack The Tree of Life, and it was tiring for the Night Pride and the Lion Guard. 

"They just don't want to give up. I still don't understand of why they wanted to attack The Tree of Life anyway?" Beshte asks curiously. 

"I don't know for sure. I just hope that Kion would be better, as soon as possible , so we can return to the Pridelands. " Fuli said, as Beshte and Bunga looked at the cheetah with a curious expression on their faces. 

They know that they wanted Kion to be fully recovered from the battle they had with Scar, but they knew it wouldn't be entirely easy. 

As they were lost in thought, Nirmala and Kion came to them , as Kion has mud on his face, as Fuli was concerned about it. 

"Uh, Nirmala, why is there mud on Kion's face?" She asks the healer . 

"It's part of his healing, Fuli, the venom would slow down a bit, and he wouldn't feel any pain for a couple of weeks." 

Kion asks, nervously, "Nirmala, can I -" 

The healer knows exactly what Kion was going to say, as she chuckles at the young lion with total ease. 

"Yes, you can wash it off now." 

Kion sigh in total relief as he walks to the hot water as he washes the mud off from his face, as he looks at his face.   

"That feels a lot better! Asante, Nirmala. I was wondering, where is Rani?" Kion asks of where the future queen might be. 

"Oh, you're looking for Rani? I think that she was with Anga and Ono, taking control of morning patrol with the Night Pride." Bunga said, recalling of the future queen. 

Kion said, "Thanks. I should be able to catch up with them." He leaves the group, as Fuli seems to be unsure of Kion is being himself. 

"I'm not totally convinced that Kion is himself. It's like he's not sure about himself ever since he had his scar. " The cheetah admits to the group as Nirmala said, "I'm positive that Kion will be healed, Fuli. 

You just have faith in him." 

Fuli looks at the direction that Kion was going, even though he was searching for Rani, she couldn't bear it . 

She walks away from the group as she needed the peace and quiet. She thought about what Anga said to her earlier . 

"You are in love with Kion." Anga said. 

The cheetah touched her chest, as if the heart was beating so fast, as she sighs, "If I really am in love with him, why didn't I noticed it sooner?"

All she can do is hope there was a chance to have to be alone with the young lion, and confess her feelings, so she wouldn't regret it. 

Kion continues to pace himself , as he tries to find the future queen of the Night Pride. "C'mon, where could they be right now?" He thought to himself, as the young lion searches for any leads to Rani and her group.
