Dahlia's POV

Today was the day, and I couldn't describe what I was feeling. Excitement, anxiety, depression, they were all over the place. But I was absolutely sure of one feeling that resided in my heart as I stood in front of the mirror and looked my reflection wearing a gorgeous wedding dress and a beautiful smile on my mouth. Love and happiness.

"Dahlia", I heard Stephanie call my name from a few feet away from me and I turned back to her and then she asked, "Are you ready, sweetie?" I smiled and nodded as I walked closer to her and then asked her a question, "Stephanie, that day you met ...

"Dahlia", I heard Stephanie call my name from a few feet away from me and I turned back to her and then she asked, "Are you ready, sweetie?" I smiled and nodded as I walked closer to her and then asked her a question, "Stephanie, that day you met me in my mother's shop, why did you ask me to come along if I seemed like some kind of handmaid?"

She smiled and held my hand securely, "Any other girl would have stolen my grandmother's ring or leave it to be lost, but you gave it back to me not even knowing how important it was to me than just an accessory. There was something about you I could tell was different and you were capable of so much love to give to the right people."

I was speechless and she kissed my cheek as we both faced the doors to the aisle and I nodded to the staff to cue for the reception to start and then took a deep breath as the doors opened and it was the most breathtaking sight I had ever witnessed. There were so many people looking back at me, and the church was decorated so divinely like we were standing in Heaven, and at the end of the aisle, I could see my bridesmaids, Sophie and Marguerite, and my future brother-in-laws, Sebastian and Emerson.

My heart soared as I spotted my beloved prince waiting for me and as soon as he looked at me, the most stunning smile grew across his lips and I felt like I might cry as I felt nothing but love and devotion to my lovely groom. I took my first step across the aisle and the music played so pretty and I couldn't help but feel like I was a character in my own fairytale book where I was the sweet and simple girl marrying the handsome and loving prince at the end of the book.

When I got the end of the aisle, I kissed Stephanie's cheek and she kissed mine before she sat along with the guests in the front row. I faced my soon-to-be husband and smiled as he held my hands and whispered, "I've been waiting for you", and my smile turned into a grin as I lightly giggled and he grinned as well. Then the pastor started his speech and I never took my eyes off of Rem's, except to glance at Marguerite who was crying a little, and I beamed at her sweet nature.

When we both finally said "I do", I kissed his lips and it felt like the most incredible kiss I had ever shared with him as our guests cheered for us and I never felt so complete in my life. We went out to a high balcony in the castle to meet the citizens of the kingdom to present ourselves as a newly married royal couple. Remington held me so closely and tightly to him as he declared, "Ladies and gentlemen, it makes me so proud and happier than you can imagine to present you, my new and lovely wife, Princess Dahlia!"
