Angie's POV
Lynn and I sat together in McDonald's as Kaylee and Johnnie ran around the play place. Marie wanted me to bring them here, for "family bonding." She, of course, stayed home.
I listened to Lynn explain to me how much she hated living with Marie. "Her husband, Tom, who is not my dad, fucking hates me. I hate him, too, but he's on a whole nother level. He calls me names whenever my mom isn't around."
"When I get my own place in Pennsylvania, you can come stay with me for a bit," I offered. "I'm staying with Chris right now and I don't want to invade his privacy, ya know?"
"Of course, but that would be awesome!"
"I'll hopefully be getting an apartment in a week or so."
She nodded and glanced over towards her siblings - or half siblings - playing on the play place. She smiled and looked back at her food.
My phone beeped and I pulled it out of my pocket. Seeing the word Spider 🕷🕸 pop up on my screen made my whole face light up.
Ricky: I miss you, come home :(
Me: I'm sorry, I'll be back in a week I'm guessing
Ricky: that's too long, and then we only have one week together before tour starts
Me: I'm gonna be with you on tour tho
Ricky: ik, but still. Love you
Me: love you too
I turned off my phone and called Kaylee and Johnnie over. We walked out of the crappy fast food joint after paying.
Twenty minutes later, I was waving goodbye to the kids as they walked back up to their house. Marie smiled and yelled, "come back soon!"
My plan was go to back to the hotel, and then tomorrow I was going to the police station. I needed to turn my dad in.

My dad was a drug addict, as well as an abusive piece of shit. I didn't tell anybody about the drugs; I even left it out of the story I told Ricky. Jason wasn't the only one addicted to drugs. I was, too.
Nobody could ever know that I had been a druggie. It wasn't for a long time, only a year, but the memories still pain me.
I was about to piss off a whole community of drug addicts. Jason was someone that people from all around the country came to get drugs from. He was good at hiding behind a mask, but when it came down to his business, it was a whole different story.
I made sure I looked nice for today. I had a plain black dress on and red heels. I looked somewhat normal. I'd even flipped up my septum piercing and taken out my snakebites.
I was led back into the police station. I took a seat, as directed, and waited for an officer to come in and ask me questions. One finally came in and sat down.
"I'm Officer Peterson," he announced. "Explain to me what's going on."
"Jason Sylvia, my father, is an abusive drug addict. He needs to be arrested."
"We need proof, and details."
I explained everything to him. He told me they were going to get a search warrant to look through the house. They'd find the meth lab in the basement and the paraphernalia in the trash can, I knew that much for sure.
"Court has to be before Saturday," I said.
"Deal, if we find everything we need to. Jason Sylvia has had it coming, for a long time."
"I know he has. I know, better than anyone else."

"When are you gonna be home?" Ricky groaned over FaceTime.
"Three more days, Ricky. Just three."
"That's too long."
I laughed and shook my head. "Not really."
"What have you even been doing, anyways?" He questioned.
"I'll fill you in when I get back, okay?"
"Can I take you out to dinner when you get back?"
"Yes, Rick. Now, I have go get to bed. I have a busy day tomorrow."
"Goodnight, snake."
"Goodnight, spider."
I love HIM so fucking much lol.
