I woke up next to Ricky, wrapped up in blankets, laying on top of him. Skin on skin. Sticky and sweaty. I also had a pounding headache.

"Babe," I groan. "Did I get drunk last night?"

He opens his eyes and mumbles, "yes."

"Did we ...?"

"Yes."

"Oh."

He smiled. "Did you enjoy it?"

I shrug. "I think so, but I was drunk."

He smirks. "Hmm, how about a recap?"

I raise my eyebrows. "Okay, Mr. Horror."

"I'll take it," I told the guy at the apartment building.

"Okay, great!" He hands me the papers that I needed to sign. I neatly copy down my signature onto each paper he needed back.

I decided to buy the two bed/two bath apartment close Ricky's house. He was thrilled about it, as was I. He had mentioned me moving in with him, but I wasn't ready for that. He understood.

Chris, on the other hand, was kinda sad about me leaving. He was my adopted dad, so he acted as if it was the end of the world that I was moving into my own apartment. He claimed he was too lonely without me.

"You can bring your stuff in on Monday," the guy told me. Great, I have three days to pack. I didn't have that much anyways. Tour was also on Tuesday, so I had to be quick with moving in.

The man and I finished up and I walked back out to my car. I was going back to Chris's. I felt bad because I'd been staying at Ricky's forever. He offered to keep Chicha so Chris and I could have a besties night, as he called them.

Chris smiled and opened the door when I got there. "Hey, daughter!"

"Hey, dad!" I joked back.

"Did you get the apartment?" He asked as we walked to his couch. I noticed all of the food, blankets, and pillows he had laid out, as well as Dexter ready to play on Netflix.

"Yep," I reply. "I need to move in by Monday."

"Instead of watching t.v., I'll help you pack," he offered.

"Thanks, but it's our besties night. I'll pack tomorrow."

"Okay, then. Let's watch Dexter!"

I carried a box out to my car. It held all of my vinyl records. When I'd went back to Maine, I made sure to grab the rest of my things, such as my old paintings, decorations, and such.

"Thanks for saving the last - and heaviest - box for me," Chris huffed, setting it down in my car. "What do you have in there?"

"All my boots."

"Of course you do. Ready to go?"

I nodded. Chris and I were driving to my apartment. We were meeting the guys there and they were helping me unload my things. Kylie was also there, because we were best friends.

My apartment ended up turning out awesome. Ricky had surprised me by buying me all new furniture. I hadn't known about it until a few hours ago, and he wouldn't take it all back, no matter how much I asked him to. I hated taking things from people.

My living room had a red velvet couch, a black t.v. stand, and a matching black shelf. The shelf held all my vinyls. My curtains were black as well, and I had a few paintings up on my wall.

My kitchen was pretty plain. I had the fridge that the apartment building had given me, and my silverware and dishes from home. I had a couple of random knicknacks on the counter.

The bathroom that was connected to my room was kinda plain as well. I had my makeup supplies and such but that's about it. I did have a walk in closet, so I organized all of my clothes in there.

I left Lynn's bedroom and bathroom plain so she could decorate it. I'd offered to buy her any furniture she wanted for it when she came to stay.

My bedroom was really nice. I had a new black bedframe and mattress. My comforter set was black, too. I had a red armchair and black table, which matched my living room's furniture. I had the rest of my paintings and decorations up in here.

I flopped down onto my couch. Ricky sat next to me and played with my hair. "Do you like your apartment?"

"Yes," I reply. "Thanks for everything."

"Of course, snake."

"Thank you guys, too!" I call out to everyone.

"I'm ready for a nap," Ricky says.

"Same," we all reply in unison.

Soon, everyone was gone and just Ricky and I were left. We walked upstairs into my bedroom and made ourselves comfy before falling asleep.
