2 months later and Daisy's 2 months pregnant.
Daisy quickly began to try and find a ride to Houston. She needed to get there as quickly as possible.
When a car finally pulled over they were shocked to see that the girl they were picking up had bullet wounds yet was moving like she didn't feel the pain.
"Get in we will take you to the hospital." The women in the passenger seat said worriedly.
"No. No hospital. I am just trying to get to Houston." Daisy says seriously.
"Are you sure? Those are pretty bad injuries." The woman said once more.
"Yes," Daisy says as she got into the car. She laid on the seat and says "Thanks for the ride. I really appreciate it." Daisy closes her eyes and began to conserve her energy. As if by second nature she was listening to the radio frequencies around her for anything suspicious.
She listened the man and women argue quietly about what to do about her. The women still wanted to take her to the hospital, while the man wanted to dump her on the side of the road.
Thankfully they actually did take her all the way to Houston. It seems like they were heading there themselves. "Thanks," Daisy said to them as she walked to a gas station from where they had dropped her off at.
Once they had driven off Daisy began to walk down the street. She knew that she needed to pickpocket people for some cash to get some new clothes to hide her wounds.
Soon she had plenty of cash to last her. She scrubbed the wallets of fingerprints and tossed them. She didn't keep any of the credit cards since she knew they were a risk. Most of what she was doing was off of just instinct. She doesn't remember anything about how she got these skills or what she was doing.
She was now one month pregnant.
She got herself some new clothes and some first aid supplies. She patched herself up before moving on in the city.
She was wondering around trying to find a place to stay when her stomach growled loudly. She saw a small dinner and decided to give it a try. She went in and sat in a booth that gave her a view of all the exits. She couldn't help but feel on edge being in one place but she needed to eat.
Daisy looked around as she ate. She noticed a guy working on his computer very intently in the booth in front of her. Once she was done eating she quietly moved closer to him till she could see the screen. She smirked as she noticed he was having trouble hacking something.
"Having trouble?" Daisy asked him curiously.
The guy jumped and looked at her with wide eyes.
"Hey let me try." She said as she sat next to him. She quickly began to type and got in without a problem. "What is it you are looking for?" She asked.
He quickly gave her the file name under his breath. "Do you have something to download it to?" Daisy asked curiously.
He quickly handed her a flash drive. She quickly downloaded the file onto it then made her way out of the system. "That is how it is done. Now you need to work on being aware of your surroundings." Daisy says easily.
"H-how did you do that?! Who are you?" The guy asked incredulously.
"Why should I tell you," Skye said while scowling.
"Well, my name is Miles. If you need a place to stay you can crash at mine." Miles said while smiling. He was not going to let this good of a hacker slip away from them.
"Only for tonight. I can't stay too long. There are people after me." Daisy says seriously.
"Ok. Is there a name that I can call you?" Miles asked her while smiling.
"You can call me Skylar Carter," Daisy said happily as they began to leave the dinner
Natasha made her way to DC with Peggy to tell Steve about Daisy. She hated to be the bearer of bad news since it seemed like bad news just seemed to follow her.
She arrived at Steve's apartment and made her way upstairs. Just as she was about to knock off Steve's door his neighbor's opens. Natasha quickly turned and was surprised to see agent 13.
"Agent Romanov?Aunt Peggy?" Sharon Carter asked.
"Hello, Sharon. Did Fury assign you to watch over Steve?" Natasha asked curiously
"Yes, why are you two here?" She asked curiously.
"We just needed to talk with Steve before heading to HQ Hangar." Natasha says seriously.
She nods and says "Have fun. Just remember that there are ears everywhere."
"Oh, I know," Natasha and Peggy say while smirking. Now she knew for sure that there is a bug in Steve's apartment. Agent 13 went back into her apartment and left Natasha and Peggy out in the hall.
Natasha and Peggy sigh. Natasha hesitates since she had to tell him the bad news. She was still not fully over the fact that she could not feel Daisy well. The bond was very faint and she couldn't feel Daisy's emotions. She put her hand on the necklace that Daisy had given her. She had not taken it off.
Natasha took a deep breath as she moved her hands away from the necklace and Peggy knocks on Steve's door. After a minute, which felt like an eternity to Natasha and Peggy, Steve answered. "Natasha, Pegs my omega what are you doing here?" He asked in surprise. He was not expecting to see Natasha and Peggy this soon.
"We need to talk privately," Peggy says as the duo pushed past Steve. Natasha reaches into her bag and pulls out a signal jammer. She activates it and sighs.
Steve was watching the duo with raised eyebrows. Now that they were in the light of his apartment he could see that something was wrong since the assassin and his omega were tense who were usually well put together looked all out of sorts.
Natasha and Peggy stare at him for a couple of minutes. Peggy was trying to figure out the best way to tell him the news. She sighs and knew that the direct approach was the best way to go about this. She took a deep breath to compose herself enough to admit the news. "Daisy is missing," Peggy says bluntly.
Steve looked at the duo in shock and quickly recovered to ask "What happened?"
"Fury came to where Daisy and I were staying and asked her if she could do a mission for him. Daisy accepted and went on it. A couple days later I was in the tower when I felt incredible pain going through our bond. It got to the point where it knocked me out. When I woke up it felt like something is blocking her memories but the bond is still active but very faint. Fury sent a team and found a ton of bodies and a destroyed lab but no Daisy. We have been searching for her since but she is not going to be easy to find. We were trained to hide in plain sight." Natasha says seriously. Her voice cracked a bit when she had explained the change in the bond. "We talked to Fury and decided the best way is for me and Peggy to go on a mission that is off books and only in contact with Fury."
Steve's jaw clenched as he listened. His hands formed fists as his anger rose up. He looked back at Natasha and Peggy and saw that she was not showing any emotion. His heart went out for the alpha and his omega in front of him. "We will find her Natasha Peggy. Don't you worry about it." Steve said as he put his hand on her shoulder.
Natasha nods before brushing off his hand. She looked at him and says " we are going to go look for her."
"Be careful Natasha. Pegs you let me know if you need back up," Steve says.
Natasha says "I will."
Peggy says "I will call if we need backup."
He watches Natasha pick up the signal jammer before the duo quickly left his apartment and head HQ Hangar. They get in a car that has no SHIELD logo and start tracking Daisy.
