A Feeling

We ate the meat and I stared at my shirt. He washed the skin and brought the shirt back. I looked at Bakugo. Why was he ...what's the word protective almost? He won't let me be alone....or anywhere in the open without him. I finished eating and noticed Bakugo was done as well. I wonder what would happen if I snuck out when he's not looking? I stood up and stretch. I watch him from the corner of my eye as I slowly step towards the exit of the cave. His head snaps back to look at me. "Where are you thinking of going?" He asked glaring at me. "I uh got to take a leak. I will be just around the corner" I said as he blushed and looked back at his sword. I smirked. I then walked out of the cave.

I walked past what I said I would and looked for a berry bush. I spot one and start picking some. "I love these" I said to myself as I ate one. It's juice explodes into my mouth after biting it. The berry was plump and sweet. I pick a hand full for Bakugo. I snap my head up when I thought I sensed someone. I looked around. No one was there. I shrug and walk back to the cave. I smiled at Bakugo as I entered. He looked back at me and glares at the berries. "What are those?" He asked. "I saw them...there berries. Here I picked these for you" I said offering them to him. He looks up at me as he took them. He pops one in his mouth. His glare softens. "Not bad" he said before eating more of them.

I looked out the cave exit as Bakugo finished the berries. I swear I can feel someone out there. I know these feelings aren't overthinking things....I sensed Bakugo and he's a dam Kitsune. "What are looking out at? " Asked Bakugo stand up and looking out the cave behind me. I could feel his breath on my neck. My face turns red. Wait can he not sense them? Maybe I am just overthinking things. "Am bored.." said Bakugo as I looked out the cave. "Oh..uh. Hmm there's a natural hot spring not too far from here...it's hidden behind thick needle bushes" I said looking back at him. "Good..I need a good soak" said Bakugo walking to the exit. I walked outside as well and led him twords the hot spring. I still felt as if we were being watched. I shake the feeling away and walked past the berry bushes. Bakugo glares at the bushes then at my back. He now knows I was not just around the corner. Oh boy.

Bakugo was silent and didn't go on about lying to him. We made it to the thick wall of needle bushes. "Do you want me to carry you so you don't get cut up?" I asked looking over at him. He blushes then glares at me. "No..am fine. I can shields myself from them with my tails" he said as his tails wrap around him. I nodded and started to walk through them. Lots of them scratches up my arms and torso. My legs and shoulder were covered. They were poked at but not scratched up like my exposed skin. I look back and see Bakugo following close behind. I step out into the clearing and stepped aside to let Bakugo pass. His tails unwrap and twitch. "Fuck those bushes ripped you up" said Bakugo as he walked up to me. He put a hand on my chest and ran his fingers down past one of the bleeding scratches. I blush and look away from him. He watched as the bleeding stops and the cuts disappear. He then puts his had were one was. "Dose it hurt when you heal.." he asked. "Uh..no it doesn't..it used to though when I was younger but...after a while the pain goes away" I said as he stepped back. His face was red and he turns away from me. My heart starts to function properly again and I walked past Bakugo. "Let's soak in the springs" I said walking to one.
