I woke up feeling like I was a peace of meat burning alive on a fire. I opened my eyes. I was laying next to the fireplace.. wrapped up in like ten blankets and..what is on me? It's heavy and warm. Too warm. I noticed a tail near my feet. Is it Bakugo? "Bakugo?" I said trying to look up. His weight shifts and feels more normal. He is less warm now .. strange. "How are you feeling?" He asked sitting up. Why would-...oh yeah I fell down a mountain in a snow storm. "Am okay..a little warm" I said looking up at him. He looks away from me. I can see a frown on his face. Wait.. don't tell me he blames himself for my stupid actions.
"Kiri..I ...am sorry for yelling at you yesterday. That was not right of me and because of that...you almost died" he said softly. I sat up and faced him. "Don't apologise I am the one who is sorry. I took it personally when I should've known you were just worried about me. It's not your fault, I was stupid and ended up like that on my own decisions" I said as he looked back at me. "But you wouldn't have made them if I-" "Don't. I don't blame you for it and you shouldn't either. It was my own fault. You didn't tell me to go the long way down a mountain in a snow storm" I said looking him in the eye. His ears perked up. "So..you forgive me?" he asked. "Yes and do you forgive me?" I asked. "I don't know you gave me a heart attack and a half" he said looking away. His tails wagging gave away what he meant. He forgives me.
I stood up and started making breakfast as Bakugo takes care of the blankets. A thud at the door jumps me and I almost drop the bead and berries on the floor. Bakugo opened the door and Haru flys in. "Oh am glad your alright sir" he said flying onto my shoulder."yep thanks to Bakugo" I said setting our bowls down. I sit down at the table. Bakugo glares at Haru as he ate. "Why you still here? Don't tell me you have another mission" said Bakugo as we ate. "Ah yes actually I do. I understand if you deny it. I can request another team" said Haru flying over to the top of the third chair. "What is it?" I asked.
"It's a simple mission. You have to meet up with some other Y group members who are in need of supplies. They are tracking an important Yokai that could potentially be a large Alli if the mission is a success" said Haru. "So we just drop off their supplies and leave?" I asked. "Yep. HQ is stretched thin and your the only team who is not out on the field at the moment" said Haru. I nod and finish my breakfast. "I think that's easy enough. It can eat up our time..which we have a lot of now that it's winter" I said taking care of my bowl. "Fine" said Bakugo as he looks away. "Okay meet me in front of HQ and I will hand over the supplies" said Haru. I nod.
Bakugo and I walked up to the big doors and saw a large sled full of supplies. "That's all. I will fly ahead and tell them your on your way" said Haru flying off. I grab the string and start pulling the sled. "Now we walk...for eight hours" I said looking over to Bakugo. He signs and looked at the sled. "We can switch on and off...if you get tired" he said as we walked. I smiled. "Nah it's light for me. I can handle way more" I said looking forward. Bakugo rolled his eyes and looked back at the supplies. "Who are the Y idiots were suppose to meet?" Asked Bakugo. "Don't know their names. It's a blonde with a string Yokai is all they told me" I said.
