Hayumi was dead.

She was pretty sure of that fact.

So........who the hell were these people staring at her? And why the hell was she in a wooden box?

She stepped out cautiously, not meeting anyone's eyes when a loud gasp made her look up.

She looked up at everyone, trying to find a familiar face when blue armour suddenly appeared in her vision as she was pulled into a bone-crushing hug as in the midst of her confusion, she froze.

"Hayumi...." Tobirama whispered hoarsely as he tightened his grip around his daughter, not believing that she was actually here.

Not believing that she was real and...........alive.

He could feel his tears gush forth as he held them back, refusing to cry in front of everyone as he pulled back slightly, stroking her pale cheek as she stared at him in shock.

"Tobirama.....?" Hayumi asked, feeling extremely vulnerable in front of all these people. She was extremely relieved that there was at least someone she knew in the fray. "Shouldn't I be dead?"

And with that, the moment was ruined as Tobirama suddenly stepped back before gazing at her angrily. Before she knew it, he was scolding her.

"WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?!" he roared as the others around him winced at his loud volume. "JUMPING IN FRONT OF ME LIKE THAT! YOU SHOULD'VE KNOWN WHAT WOULD HAPPEN!!!!"

"You were going to kill tou-sama! You think I would just let you do that when I could stop it? No way!" Hayumi snapped back, glaring at Tobirama, who heaved a heavy sigh.

"Did you at least think of how I would feel? To kill you with my own hands? To live with the guilt of it?" Tobirama murmured as Hayumi felt her anger disappear immediately, guilt and shame replacing it as she sullenly stared at the ground.

To kill your own daughter..........she couldn't even begin to fathom what he had felt.

But at that time, all she cared about was Madara's safety ; she completely disregarded her father, even during her final moments before her death.

Was he a bad father? Yes.

Was she a horrible daughter? Even more so.

"I'm sorry......" she mumbled as Tobirama then pulled her back into his arms, stroking her long red hair as she squirmed uncomfortably, yet didn't push him away.

"Sensei."

Hiruzen approached the two as Hayumi's eyes widened at the sight of him whilst Tobirama let go of her so she could step forward.

"Saru-san? Is that you??" she asked incredulously as Hiruzen let out a chuckle at her expression, patting her head.

"It's been too long, Hayumi-chan." Saru smiled at the adorable young girl, who was still staring at him in shock as she spoke up: "You're so old!!"

Hiruzen felt an imaginary boulder with the word 'old' hit him on the head as his smile dropped slightly.

"And you are still so small." Hiruzen teased, getting back at her as she pouted.

"I'm still 10, ya know!"

"And I'm -"

"Oiii!!!" Karin suddenly shouted as she abruptly squatted down in front of the young girl, who stared at her like she'd sprouted two heads.

"You!" Karin thrust a finger into her chest, which made Hayumi recoil back in shock.

"Me?"

Karin turned to Orochimaru, who was watching the interaction nearby.

"Why'd ya summon this pipsqueak?! How's she gonna be of any help?!"

Sasuke sighed at Karin's behaviour as Orochimaru, who was about to comment that she herself wouldn't be of much help with her screaming either, stopped when he noticed the young girl's glare as he chose to remain silent instead, wanting to see what happens

Hayumi let out a low growl before grabbing Karin and pulling her forward.

Karin turned back around, glaring at the girl who had the nerves to do that to her.

"You brat! Who do -!!!"

She collapsed as Hayumi scoffed, her Sharingan spinning wildly into place as she stepped over Karin's unconscious body.

"Don't underestimate me! Got that?"
