In the alternate universe, Madara was still busy extracting the bijuu from Hayumi and sealing it within himself as Hayumi was now honestly tired from screaming from pain so much, and opted to grit her teeth tightly instead as she watched the orange chakra bubble forth from her stomach.

She tried to catch Madara's eyes, yet he would not even spare her a second glance as he focused on the task at hand.

She tried to force the words out, despite the searing pain emitting from her whole body.

"Tou-san........and oji-san..........will.........stop you!!!" Hayumi hissed as Madara finally looked into her eyes.

"..........They can try."

Tobirama was close to just whipping out his largest water jutsu and possibly drown Obito in it as the enraged Senju shot the Uchiha his deadliest glare, making Obito hesitant to provoke them as he opted to lower his body in preparation for an attack.

"Tobi, we need a plan. Charging in like this won't do any good." Hashirama'a voice of reason slightly snapped Tobirama out of his anger induced state, but not for long as the crimson-eyed Senju pushed away his brother's hand on his shoulder.

"Nonsense brother. Planning will get us nowhere - we just need to force him to open up that alternate universe using his eyes." Tobirama surmised as he whipped out one of his specially marked kunai. "I'll make him talk."

Hayumi's POV

'Why is it so dark?'

Hayumi felt herself floating in a never-ending darkness as she tried to grasp at anything to figure out where she was.

'It's cold'

Despite there not being any strong winds, Hayumi could feel her body freeze over for some reason as she wrapped her arms around herself, trying to secure some warmth as she slowly crouched down.

'I'm scared'

Hayumi began trembling as the darkness around her seemed to intensify tenfold, threatening to swallow her whole.

'I don't want to be alone'

Hayumi suddenly thought of her mother, aunt, uncle - everyone who had mattered to her in her short time of living.

'Please don't leave me alone'

She thought of Madara's once kind smile whenever he looked at her. She remembered how he would once always be there for her in her time of need ; how he was there before anyone else.

'I don't want to drown'

She thought of her father - with his soft ruffling of her hair, the occasional smiles he would give her at her accomplishments at whatever she did ; the love that shone in his eyes when they looked upon her and her mother.

'Don't let me drown!!! Please!!!!"

Hayumi slowly forced her eyes open as black spots danced around in her vision. Everything was so blurry - she couldn't even tell where she was anymore. She could see a glowing light in front of her and the silhouette of a man kneeling next to her.

'Someone.....anyone......I don't care who......'

Hayumi weakly raised her hand up, wanting and wishing for someone to grab hold of it and pull her out from whatever nightmare she was in.

'Save me!!!!'

A firm hand grasped her own, just as everything went dark once more.

Madara watched silently as the last of the orange chakra flowed from Hayumi's navel, absorbed by himself as he felt the large amounts of power he now held.

He slowly placed Hayumi's hand, of which he had been gripping, down next to her unmoving body.

Madara allowed himself a moment to softly brush a stray strand of hair from Hayumi's deadly pale face, his eyes drowning in pain at the revelation of what he had just done.

"It'll be alright. Soon......very soon......"

Madara stood up, cradling Hayumi's stone-cold body in his arms as he placed one final kiss on her forehead.

"We will be reunited..........Hayumi........."
