"What's there to talk about?" Zak asked innocently, trying his best to avoid the obvious topic.

"You know what, Zak. About.. what I told you..."

Darryl looked down solemnly.  His heart started beating harder, and it hurt.
He looked back up at Zak and sighed. Zak frowned as his eyes shifted to the side guiltily.

"I just want you to know what I said is true. I do really really like you. But.. I understand why you reacted the way you did.." his eyes became glassy with tears.

"No no, Darryl, don't..."

"No, let me finish." Darryl sniffled and wiped his eyes.

"I'm so sorry for confessing like that. You were right, it was unfair. But I don't regret telling you. Are we.. still friends? I don't want to lose you.."

Zak quickly walked up to him and hugged him. Darryl sniffled as he returned it, wrapping his arms around him. He could feel him shaking.

"I'm so sorry, Darryl. I shouldn't have said what I said. I didn't know how to apologize after that. Of course we're still friends."

Darryl couldn't help but smile in relief.

"I'm so glad.."

Zak let out a small, joyful laugh.

"Who would I pingspoof if we weren't friends?"

"ZAK! This is a serious moment you muffin!"

Zak just laughed and let go of the hug, and they both stepped back to look each other in the eyes.

"I missed you." Zak sighed.

Darryl slightly grew red and grinned shyly.

"I missed you too, Zak."

"Come on, let's film a video together before our subscribers think we died."

Darryl rolled his eyes, but nodded in agreement. The two of them headed towards their rooms to begin their video process.
