"Ughhhghghhh..." Zak groaned.
He sat up on his bed, his hand on his nose, pulling out the bloodied paper towel.
"What the heck happened.."

He looked to the side and on his desk was a glass of water, medicine, and a note.
Zak struggled and stood up, walking over to the desk, and picked up the note.

'Here's some medicine for your headache. I'll be in the kitchen making breakfast if you want to talk, let me know if you need anything.'

Then he remembered. He had gotten drunk.

"Crap crap crap, what happened when I got home?! I can't rememberrrr!" Zak panicked.

He sighed and took the pain medicine Darryl had left him, and then left his room and faced his fears.
Darryl was cooking bacon, and Zak's mouth watered at the smell.

"Hey... uhhh.."

"Hey Zak, want some bacon?"

Zak nodded awkwardly. Darryl finished cooking and placed some bacon on a plate, and they sat at the table.

"Darryl.. what the heck happened yesterday??"

Darryl looked up with bacon in his mouth and Zak snorted. Darryl glared and quickly swallowed.

"What?!"

"You looked funny."

"NO I DIDNT."

Zak just smiled, which caused Darryl to smile back. (The snack that smiles back lmao)

"You came home drunk, and fell on your nose, so I helped you to your room and cleaned it up."

Darryl decided to leave the part where he almost kissed him out.

"I didn't say anything weird, did I?"

"You apologized for uh.. you know.."

Zak blushed and then looked at his bacon awkwardly.

"I forgave you, by the way."

Zak looked up and smiled.

"I'm glad. I really am sorry, you know. I'm dumb when I drink."

"I know. So stop drinking."

Zak laughed and nodded like a mad man.

"Definitely not drinking again... so.. how's it going with that girl?"

Darryl shrugged and picked up a piece of bacon.

"I don't really feel interested in dating right now, so we're staying friends."

Zak's face formed a smile unconsciously.

"What's that face for?" Darryl said suspiciously.

"Huh? OH UM I was thinking about how I'll troll you next."

"OH MY GOODNESS DO NOT!"

Zak laughed nervously.
