Will Be My Sunshine

III Nico

Nico woke up; scared, he couldn't move his arm. Slowly he lifted his head, to see Will resting on top of his right hand, for a second he thought they had removed his arm.

Will looked peaceful; Nico couldn't hold back this time, he reached over with his free hand and brushed Will's forehead softly.

Nico pulled back his hand quickly, because Will had stirred.

"Why did you do that?" Will asked looking at Nico accusingly for waking him up.

Maybe Nico had only imagined it, but Will seemed hopeful.

"No, no, um, there was a bug on your forehead."
Nico could feel himself blushing furiously. His mouth felt dry, his eyes probably wild, like a cornered animal. Or an ear of corn about to be eaten; which was recently one of Nico's nightmares.

"What time is it?" Will asked looking around.

Nico shrugged. Will stood up and took a deep breath, all the while Nico followed his lead.

"Woah, where do you think you're going Death Boy?" Will asked him, "you still have, if I'm correct, two days left in here."

With that he turned around and left Nico alone.

Well, Nico thought to himself, he only told not to leave the infirmary.

Nico smiled to himself as he searched around the building. From the outside it looked simply like a tent, but inside it seemed almost like a two story building. He guessed it was the doing of the Hunters of Artemis.

He walked all the way to the front. Yesterday, right before he fainted, he had heard someone calling Will from over here.

As he inspected the cots, he felt a sharp pain in his chest. He leaned on a cot right beside him, but it only increased the pain. He backed away from the cot. Closing his eyes, he found a new ability of his. Nico could see the faint red glowing image of a young girl lying on the cot. Beside her there where many blue glowing people, one of them was Will. He stood silently as the girl's red glow turned to black and the images disappeared.

He, himself, felt like he was disappearing, turning translucent.

Nico saw Will running towards him, leaving whoever he was taking care of alone. Nico felt himself fall.

Will had reached him, even tried to catch him, but Nico only passed through Will's arms.

On the ground Nico could hear Will calling for someone to call Coach Hedge; for Hedge had cured Nico on their quest, when this had happened.

Nico looked straight into Will's eyes. He knew there were people around them, but he didn't complain when Will kissed his forehead.

"I told you to stay in bed, Death Boy!" Will reached down trying to pick Nico up.

Nico fell again to darkness.

I'm so sorry if this chapter has many mistakes. I wrote it in my phone cause my laptop had a virus so yep. I think I may have it fixed or have a new one by next Friday so that's good. Sorry it took so long though.
