Will Be My Sunshine

Nico didn't know exactly what happened. All he knew was that he was covered by darkness. After everything had gone dark, Nico felt as if he was floating in the air, almost like an angel. Then soon after laying in darkness he could see, no hear someone's voice. And with that voice he saw sunshine spark in rhythm with the voice. Though in the end he didn't know what the voice had said. Abruptly after the sounds stopped Nico felt a strong heat on his left cheek.

But, way to soon, all the heat and sunshine went away. Leaving Nico in darkness.

It felt like an eternity, but soon Nico felt himself gradually gain more weight. Eventually the light came back, but not like before. It just seemed bright, but not as powerful and bright as the sunshine from before.

Nico opened his eyes. Everything was way too bright. Then he noticed that it was only a flashlight aiming at his face. Confused he sat up. It was Jason.

Nico looked at him. Jason seemed like the golden boy, when Percy seemed just like a normal skater. Then Nico started to think about Will. When compared to Will, both of them, Percy and Jason, didn't stand a chance.

Jason seemed stressed. But the war had ended...or am I sicker then I thought? Nico thought alarmed. Nico tried to stand up but Jason didn't let him. "You shouldn't be up." Nico raised an eyebrow, "Well you shouldn't be here after curfew." Nico continued with the struggle to get up. Jason didn't want to help. He tried to have Nico lie down again, " I need some fresh air!" Jason didn't argue.

They walked right outside of the infirmary, though Nico finally agreed to sit only on the door steps. "Are you okay?" Jason finally had ended the silence.

"Does it look like I am?" Nico asked.

"Well, sort of." Jason said rubbing his forehead. Now it was Nico's turn to say something. He knew that Jason was struggling with the fact that his best friend Leo had died.

"You know, Leo chose his own death." Nico said trying to be sincere. He wasn't lying. The day that the sky lit up and engulfed Leo and Festus, Nico could feel it.

"Ya I have a feeling that he did. But...I still don't understand. Why!" Nico didn't know how to respond, he never was the guy to help other people with their feelings. But Jason continued, "I just can't get over the fact that my best friend is dead."

"You know, I could never get over the fact that my older sister, the only sister I had at the time, had died." Nico confessed. He actually still hadn't. Nico knew that Bianca had chosen rebirth. That meant he was never going to see her again. For all Nico knew, she was lying sound asleep in a crib right now.

"Well, then you know how it feels to lose someone." Jason said sadly. Nico guessed that Jason knew that he had not only lost one person he loved. "But I didn't come to talk about myself. I wouldn't have woken you up for that." Jason seemed a lot more happy. Making Nico more confused.

"I came here to talk about you and Will." Jason said happily. Nico probably looked like an ear of corn about to be boiled.

"I don't know what you're talking about." Nico said flatly. Yep an ear of corn boiled and being seasoned.

"I've seen the way you look at Will. And I've also seen the way Will looks at you." Jason said poking Nico in the stomach the way Bianca used to do. Nico felt heat fill his whole face.

"You look at Will like he was your Sunshine. And if I were to say so myself, it looks like he sees you as his Moon." Jason smirked. Nico felt dead.

"I'm not so sure..." Nico finally gave in. "I mean-he-you know-he may not like..." Nico looked down blushing.

"Oh come on!" Jason said waving his arms in the air. "I can ask anyone about the way Will looks at you. All of them would agree with me." Jason said sitting up taller.

"You, you really think so?" Nico asked. Nico felt so happy, he didn't feel this way a lot.

"Positive." Okay, thought Nico. I do have a chance with Will. Nico felt a grin spreading on his face. Too soon, though, his head started to ache.

"Hey, Nico? I think you should go back to bed." Jason said looking at the sky. Nico silently agreed. On his way to the infirmary door Jason called, "Seriously dude, give Will a chance."

With that Nico went back to bed. He know knew what he was going to do with his last day in the infirmary. He was going to get Will to be his Sunshine.

Haha yes I know you didn't have to wait long for this chapter. I'm still at my cousins house. I think my mom is going to pick me up around 11. :| but instead of wasting my time researching my project (lol I can't any way. Why? No Wi-Fi! ?.?) so I decided to write this chapter. Again if you're. Reading this then I got home to meh beloved Wi-Fi. I would continue to write the chapter after this one but the battery present is 13%. So yep. :[ but I may write it in my iPod, so I guess that's good.

Okay so it may seem that this story may end soon, but I don't know. I want to have Leo do something...jk. Lol no I'm serious I think I may continue it. But who knows. I need to get my grades up. I have a 68 in algebra =[...yep

I hope you liked this chapter, I know to much Jason-Nico but it was worth it right? No? Okay then U_U. Jk
