No matter how far apart we are

Chapter 9:

As soon as I got out of the bus, I had a different vibe of the apex facility.

When the bus drove away, I slowly went back to my apartment.

On the way there, it seemed a little bit quiet.

Too quiet for my liking.

Perhaps, everyone went training or it was lunchtime.

At the door to my apartment, I took a deep breath and opened it.

Just one step inside and I saw that all the lights were out.

That means Bangalore wasn't here.

This kind of made me a little bit sad.

Actually, I wished that she would be still here.

Like, I open the door and then she would see me.

Well, doesn't seem like it.

Suddenly, behind me, I heard our entrance door getting open.

I turned around and then I saw Bangalore.

Her first reaction was a surprised face and then it switched to a happy expression.

She went towards me and the first thing she did was, she hugged me.

„Good to see you back, amigo!"

From her greeting, I just grinned.

I excused myself and told her I wanted to unpack my belongings, which was a lie.

Instead of unpacking, I put all my remained things in my luggage.

My purpose is to enjoy every single moment with them until I leave for good.

Don't get me wrong.

I love participating in the tournament, but during the internship, I realized that being in a company won't hurt.

The internship showed me something new.

I have a different perspective now.

As I was done with packing, I went outside and kept company with my teammate.

I asked her, what happened during my absence and she just mentioned that everyone was doing their own thing.

Later on, she asked me how my visit was.

I told her everything, from getting close to my parents to working at my father's company.

For now, I didn't mention, that I am only here for bidding goodbye.

We had such a great time, I didn't want to ruin it now.

Hours later, all my friends were at our apartment.

We were talking and talking until it was late.
