I Fell In Love With A Werewolf

Chapter 1

Hi my name is Thea, that's short for Theodora. I am a 17 year-old high school student. I am 5 foot 2, with long red hair with highlights of blonde. I am fair skin and have freckles along my nose under my eyes. I have green eyes like my mother. I am finally starting my junior year and yes I am the youngest in my class. I am currently getting ready for school at 5:30 A.M. Whoever decided that was a good time to make us get up is horrible. My sister's name is Emma. She is 13 years-old and is just starting her freshman year of high school. She has blue eyes like our father. If I must say, she isn't the friendliest person to wake up to. This morning she threw her heel at me. She has hair like mine, but she has more blonde in it. She is 5 foot 2 like me, only she doesn't have freckles.

I have an older brother who is very protective of me, I don't mind it, but it can get very annoying at times. His name is Jake. He is 18 years-old and is starting his senior year. My brother is 6 foot 2. He has blonde hair just like our father and only a few freckles which he gets from our mother. He has green eyes like me. He is also the captain of our football team, the Jaguars, and he is really good. Even though he can get a bit cocky, he is still my brother no matter how annoying he may get.

My mother's name is Ava. She is 5 foot 4, with red hair. She has green eyes and freckles all over her face. She has fair skin and she is 45 years-old. My mother is a very protective woman of her children and no one messes with her cubs. My father on the other hand is very fun and likes to joke a lot. But, when he wants something to get serious, he gets very serious. He is 6 foot 3 so he towers over all of his girls. That's what he likes to call us. His name is Sam and he is 48 years-old. My parents act like they both are back in their teenage years and it can get very well, you get the point.

"Thea," my mother called from the kitchen.

"Yes mom."

"Please get your sister it's time for you all to leave for school."

"Ok mom."

As I am finishing getting ready, I hear a strange noise come from outside my window. I go to look out and I see what looks like a wolf. But, it wasn't just any wolf I have ever seen before. It was much bigger than an average wolf. It was HUGE!!!!! It has brownish-black fur and it's paws were enormous. It's eyes were a goldish-yellow and it was looking right at me. It really freaked me out, before I could turn away I thought I saw it smile at me. I thought maybe I'm seeing things. So I look away for a second and as soon as I turn back it was gone, as if it was never there.

"Thea we need to go now, or Emma and I are leaving you!" my brother yells.

"Alright, alright I'm coming sheesh." I yell as I run down the stairs.

"Bye mom, bye dad, love you guys." I say as I kiss each of them on the cheek on my way out.

"Hey you ok? You seem like you just saw a ghost." Jake asks me.

"Yes I'm fine don't need you to go all protective brother on me." I joke back.

I roll my eyes at him as we all pile into his 1998 green Chevy Silverado. As we start heading to school I plug in my headphones and pull out my iPhone and start listening to my favorite band, Blink-182. On the way to school I can't help but think back to what I saw outside my window this morning. Just as we arrive to school I see my friends, Jack, Mia, Sarah, and Alex, all waiting for me. Jack and Alex are twins and they both are 17. They both have jet black hair and are both 6 foot. Mia and Sarah are both my friends since diapers. Our parents say if we were related we would be sisters. We are inseparable like we were meant to be born together.

"Hey Thea! I missed you so much!" my best friends say.

"I missed you guys too." I say back as I look around at my group of friends.

I noticed something out of the corner of my eye and just as I look over I see Aiden's group walking right towards us.

"Guys, don't look now but Aiden and his friends are walking right towards us." I say.

"Oh great just what we need on the first day back." Mia says sarcastically.

"I wonder what he wants this time." Jack says, as he and Alex push us behind them.

"Well, well, well, what do we have here? The boys protecting their girlfriends? How cute." Aiden says, as his group of misfits laugh behind him.

Times like this is when I wish my brother would show up.

"Hey Aiden!"

Someone calls his name, but it's not a voice I have heard before. As we all turn to look I spot them looking over at us. I can't help but shake this feeling like I have seen him somewhere before. That's when he looks at me and I notice him smiling back at me. I thought to myself it can't be, it just can't be.

"What?" Aiden asks annoyed.

When Aiden gets annoyed let's just say things don't end well. The guy walks up to my group and pushes Mia, Sarah, and I all behind them along with Jack and Alex. So now we are standing behind 8 people in total, putting several inches between us and Aiden's group.

"Why don't you leave the girls alone?" The guy says infuriated.

"Hey boys this guys thinks he's funny." Aiden says rudely.

"Aiden what do you want?" I ask coming to the front of the group showing him that I'm done with him messing with me.

"You know exactly what I want love." He starts to say grossly seductive, "you", he whispers into my ear, as he grabs my arm pulling me forcefully towards him. As I shudder I swore I heard a growl, right then comes the voice I thought I would never would have heard.

"Aiden let her go now!!!!," Jake says.

"Ah, look here boys, it's Jake, the little twerp's big brother." Aiden mockingly says.

Me and the group all looked at each other like we read each other's minds of what is about to happen.

"Aiden don't start something you can't win." Jake threatens him.

"Jake please don't do this, he isn't worth it." I tried pleading with him. But, let's just say he wasn't having it.
