Chapter 8

Jackson's POV:

I look over to Liam as we climb into his truck and take off to where the trespassers are. As we are driving away I look out the window and think about the look Thea had on her face and the disappointed tone she had when I told her I had to go. She thought I didn't hear it in her voice, but it was clear as day how disappointed she was. I know that this is important and that it can't wait, but I just wish I could stay with her.

"Dude you ok?" Liam asks pulling me out of my thoughts.

"Uh yea. Why? What's up?" I ask him.

"Bro ever since we got into my truck you have this distant look on your face." He says.

"C'mon man really? Tell me what we know about this pack." I reply.

"Ok, well what I do know is that they entered our territory near 6th St and Swanson Ave, over by the abandoned steel warehouse. Joseph believes there to be at least 6 of them over there right now. He isn't sure how many are hiding out in the surrounding buildings and trees." Liam informd me.

"Ok let's go back to the pack house and have a meeting to discuss our plan. I am going to mind-link Jospeh."

'Jospeh I want you to get everyone to the pack house and set up for a meeting.'

'Yes Alpha'

"Joseph is gathering everyone now-" I say as I get cut off by my phone ringing.

"Hello?"

"Jackson" I hear a panic voice say. I look over to Liam with a worried expression as I know who that voice belongs to. I quickly put my phone on speaker so Liam can hear.

"Thea! What is going on?" I asked worried. Liam looked at me and immediately turned the truck around. I heard her scream and the line go dead.
