Several hours later I woke up in Jackson's room with six very nervous looking boys sleeping, all except for one, Jackson. As I woke up I saw Jackson on the phone talking to someone, I'm not sure what he was saying since he was whispering too low for me to hear anything. I just turned over and saw the others asleep. Jake was asleep on the floor with his hand in mine and his face on the bed. Luke and Scott were both cuddling on the floor, it was rather cute if I may say so myself. Joseph, Noah, and Liam were all sleeping in chairs. Jackson hangs up the phone and turns around to look at me and what I saw was scary enough to scare any living thing that walked in front of it's path. His eyes were black, and when I say black I mean as in the night sky with no stars.

As soon as he saw me frightened, Noah and Liam both woke up and saw me staring at Jackson and it didn't take very long for them to know what I was scared of. Liam woke Scott, Joseph, Jake, and Luke, and they all seemed to know what was happening. When I looked at Jackson I wasn't even scared anymore, so I got up and walked over to him and just put my hands on his face to let him know I wasn't scared. All the others were yelling at me not to do that, but as soon as I did Jackson calmed down and his eyes returned to normal. When I say that was absolutely terrifying I am not kidding.

All the boys kept asking me how I did that, but little did they know I already knew what he was. I have read many stories online about how girls calm down werewolves just by simply touching their face, but little did I think it would actually work. When they kept asking me how I calmed him down like that, so fast, I couldn't even reply because all I could focus on was the rushing feeling of sparks that I felt and just how right it felt to be with Jackson, in his arms, him holding me. I just couldn't explain it to them right then and there, and I definitely couldn't explain it to Jake, he would just become the protective older brother. I wish I could explain what just happened, but I can't.

"Thea?" Jake asks me cautiously.

"Yea? What's up?" I ask.

"Um, we just um, well..."

"Just spit it out already." I say.

"We just wanted to know how you were able to calm Jackson down like that. We have never seen any girl be able to calm him down like that." Noah tells me.

"I don't know honestly. I saw it in a movie once and I just wanted to see if it actually worked." I said, unsure if they knew I was lying or not.

I could tell they didn't believe me when I told them about the movie. But, they just seemed to agree and go with it. They all looked pretty shocked about what just happened. I mean I would to if I knew someone who had trouble getting calm, and then out of nowhere some random girl shows up, and poof! just like that he calmed down.

"Hey Thea, we should probably get going since mom is starting to text me." Jake told me.

"Uh yea, let's go." I tell him.

Jackson pulls me aside like he wants to tell me something important.

"Hey Thea," He says as I am about to walk out his front door.

"Jake I'll be there in a minute." I yell after him.

"Ok, but just hurry." Jake reminds me as he gets another call from our mother.

"What's up Jackson?" I ask him shyly.

"About the picture you saw of the wolf," he starts to say as his eyes adverts looking at me.

"What about it?" I ask him unsure of what he is going to say. "I know what you're probably going to say. It's ok Thea it's just another wolf. But the problem Jackson, that wasn't just some random wolf I saw outside of my bedroom window this morning. It was that exact wolf, and that wolf has the same smile as you. So, either you're some supernatural creature like a werewolf, or you just have one of those smiles. But, I do know for a fact you don't have just one of those smiles, because I saw your eyes turn black, and I know I'm not going crazy. So don't you try to tell me what I did or didn't see. I just want you to tell me the truth. If you don't than don't bother talking to me at school." I tell him as I say the last word out of breath. I turn to walk away before Jackson grabs my wrist and turns me around.

"Thea I will tell you eventually I just need you to trust me." He tells me before he let's go of my wrist.

I climb into Jake's pickup and we start to head home. I was hoping for silence but, he just had to ask me that one question I was hoping to avoid for awhile.

"Thea are you ok?" He asks.

"Yes Jake I'm fine. Can we just go home please? I have homework I need to do." I tell him getting slightly annoyed.

"Ok." Jake says and then just drops the conversation long enough for me to put my headphones in and turn the volume all the way up. On the ride home from Jackson's house, I couldn't but help think about the way his eyes turned from his aqua blue eyes to a deep dark black. The way they changed, I just couldn't figure out if it was because he was angry about the phone call or if he was angry about what could have happened to me. Either way I can ask him tomorrow at school. We finally pull up into the driveway, but before I could get out of the truck Jake stops me.

"Just a fair bit of warning before we go in there, mom knows." He says, as we know just how crazy our mom can be.

"Oh fuck, are you kidding me? She is never going to let me go out again!" I say already knowing what's in store for me as soon as I walk in through the front door.

"THEA ROSE JOHNSON AND JAKE ALLAN JOHNSON GET YOUR BUTT'S INTO THE KITCHEN NOW!!!!" my mother yells.

Jake and I look at each other scared out of our minds because we already know what is in store for the both of us.
