Thea's POV

My parents finally left and so did my brother and sister, now it's just me alone in this hospital bed. I keep thinking about Jackson and how he is doing. I wait for what feels like hours before someone comes in.

"How's Jackson?" I first ask them.

"He's not good. Would you like to go see him?" They ask me.

"Yes," I say.

"Alright let me grab a wheelchair and I'll take you to see him." They leave but they come back with a wheelchair.

"What's your name?" I ask them.

"It's Annabeth, but you can call me Ana for short." She says.

"That's a pretty name," I say, "my name is Thea."

"Oh, Luna please forgive me she." She says bowing.

"Oh, no need for that please," I tell her, as she rolls me to see Jackson.

"But it's for respect for our Luna and Alpha," Ana tells me. "Don't worry Alpha Jackson will explain everything once you officially become our Luna at the ceremony."

"Ceremony?" I ask confused.

"Oh, it's not too big don't worry, everything will be explained to you soon. Here we are." She says rolling me into his room. I look at him and see that he has bandages, wires, tubing, and IVs. He looks pale and lifeless. I have never seen someone look like this before. I have her push me over to the side of the bed so I can hold his hand. I sit there watching him barely able to breathe myself as Ana leaves us to give us some privacy. I look at the man who came to save me and he does not look like the same man. The once strong, vibrant, full-of-life person before me is not here now in this bed. I wish he would wake up and be okay again. As I hold his hand, I feel the sparks and energy that I have felt before, but never understood what they meant until now.

"Jackson, I'm not sure if you can hear me, but please wake up and come back to me. Please I need you I don't know what I'll do without you. You make everything so much better when you're around. You make me happy and feel safe and protected. Please wake up please." I beg him while holding his hand, I start to cry and after a while, I fall asleep holding his hand. Several hours later I feel his hand squeeze mine. I wake up and see............
