Chapter 14

Theas POV

---Before Jackson broke in---

I'm looking around at this dusty place wondering and thinking to myself what I did to end up here. Why am I here? Who is this guy standing in front of me? It doesn't make sense at all. I have never felt so alone so scared in my life. I can't make any sense of this. I keep questioning if or when Jacks is going to be coming.

"Why are you doing this to me?" I ask this man in front of me. He clearly is built; he has big muscles, blue eyes, and fiery red hair. He looks to be at least 25 years old and in good health.

"Well my sweet flower, you see your mine. You are my betrothed and therefore by this time tomorrow you will be my wife." He tells me.

"I will NOT be marrying you tomorrow. I am way too young to be married, I'm only 16." I tell him hoping this will make him see I am not his and throw him off my real age.

"I know you aren't 16, I know you are 17. I also know your birthday is tomorrow." I look at him with shock and try to show no fear, but it is of no use.

"How do you know my birthday?" I ask my curiosity getting the better of me.

"Well you see love, when you were just 8 months old, I met your wonderful parents, they know what I am and they know that we exist. They thought they could take you away from me, but they don't realize how wrong they were back then. I have connections in many places that one doesn't think about exist. Back then when I met your parents I told them werewolves do exist and that on your 18th birthday you would be my wife, but little did they know I was Alpha of one of the biggest packs in the world, the Midnight Fire. I can still see the fear in your parent's eyes when they found out what I was and that I told them you would be mine. Now be a good girl and do as I say and you will be fine." With that he was gone and left me down here with Daniel to watch over me.

Not even 3 hours later I started to fall asleep when I heard crashing, growling, and howling coming from upstairs. I know immediately who that person is, Jackson.

"JACKSON! JACKSON IM DOWN HERE PLEASE HELP ME!" I scream in hopes of him finding me.

"Oh you're not screaming and being taken from me princess." This man who I have come to learn his name is Samuel.

"JACKSON PLEASE HELP ME!" I say in a last attempt to get him to find me and save.

We start heading upstairs with him carrying me, I look behind him and I see Chase, Jackson's wolf coming and as he leaps into the air I am thrown back. My head hits a wall and I look and see Chase and Samuel's wolf fighting. The last thing I see before I go unconscious is Samuel's wolf biting down on Chase's throat. I hope my Jackson and Chase are ok. I need them to be ok, I need them to survive, and with that everything goes black.
