Zayn's P.O.V
I glanced at the clock, which read 6:45 pm as I hurriedly dried my wet hair and put on some cologne, before checking myself in the mirror to see if everything was in place.
I was dressed in a zebra printed button-up shirt, with skinny jeans and black boots.
I looked to see Harry staring at me from where he was previously doing roly polies on the floor with our cat, whom he had named snow.
"Where are you off to?" He questioned, propping himself on his elbow.
"It's a gang dinner type thing. We have to discuss some things." I told him, waving a goodbye before walking down the stairs to have Dad ask me the same question.
"My boss has invited me to dinner to discuss some things about the trucks and all." I shrugged, hugging him and then walking out the door.
I quickly got in the car, cursing at the fact that I was going to be late at an important occasion once again.
The drive to my destination wasn't that long, thankfully. I got out of the car and went into the restaurant, to find, not my boss, nor my gang members, but Niall sitting at a booth in the corner, checking his watch.
He was dressed in a blue shirt that had birds on it, with blue ripped jeans and converse.
He immediately got up when he noticed me approaching, wrapping his arms around me as I did the same, giving him a kiss on his cheek.
"You look gorgeous." Niall breathed.
"So do you." I smirked as I gestured towards his outfit, earning a shy smile from him.
We scanned the menu, deciding to order the same thing.
"So, tell me about yourself?" I questioned, resting my head on my hand.
"Uhm.. there's not much about me, I'm just an average lad from Ireland who loves food and puppies."
"Average lad? An average lad who'd have any modelling agency kill to get?"
Niall blushed, shyly looking down on the floor. "So, what are your hobbies and all?"
"Well... I like to steal, kill, and make everyone's life a living hell." I smirked.
Niall uncomfortably shifted in his seat, staring at me uneasily.
"Just kidding!" I laughed at Niall who almost shit his pants.
"I like to sketch and sing." I said nervously since that wasn't something I usually shared with people.
"Oh! That's amazing! I like to sing too, but I'm horrible at sketching. I can't even draw a flower without making it look like I did it with my foot."
"You can't be that bad." I chuckled.
"Trust me, I can." He paused. "Can I see some sketch of yours someday?"
I visibly stiffened. My sketches were something that were extremely personal to me, and I couldn't just share them with anyone, no matter how much I liked them.
"Yeah.. we'll see. So why'd you move to England?" I tried to change the topic.
The conversation carried on from there, and so did the night. After Niall had devoured absolutely everything on the menu and I had payed the bill, me and Niall stood on the sidewalk debating if we were going to stretch the night a little longer or end it here.
"No way." Niall shook his head, hugging the keys to his Bentley.
"Yes way! It's right there." I gestured to the bar in front of us.
"You don't wanna see me when I'm drunk, trust me Zayn."
"It doesn't matter. I'll get drunk with you, it'll be fun!" I started to pull him along.
"But what about my car!"
"Don't worry about your car, just give me the keys and go inside."
"Are you sure about this, Zayn?"
"Yes Niall. Now go on."
After Niall went inside, I waved to Sean, one of the newbies of the gang who was looking down at me from the roof of the building. I threw the keys of Niall's and my car to him as he nodded.
Since the incident with the Bulls', I had someone as my bodyguard almost every time I set foot out of the house.
"Take Niall's car to his home, and park mine in its place." I ordered.
I parked my car at my neighbour's house, who was a friend of mine and a drug lord. I helped him start off his business and he just gives me the return by helping me out in a few things.
"Can I ask you a question, Boss?" He said, taking the support of a signboard to have him on ground.
"Yeah?"
"What was all that? Seemed kind of gay, no?" Sean gestured to the restaurant.
My cheeks flamed up at his question, but I tried to cover it up using the old school "say that agin and you're dead" tactic.
I cocked my gun, pointing it to his face to see his skin go paler than ever.
"What was that again?"
"N-Nothing. Nothing, Boss." He shivered, quickly getting in one of the cars to take it back.
I saw a teenage girl, dressed in a floral dress with her brown hair pinned back stare at me with wide eyes from the other side of the road.
I pointed the gun to her and raised my eyebrows, to give her a warning. She slowly nodded and gulped, running and tripping a few times thanks to her heels.
I made my way into the bar, which thankfully didn't have glass windows, hence no audience of whatever happened outside, seeing Niall order some beer.
I caught up to him, telling the bartender to get me Rum & Coke, downing the drink in a second before ordering another.
