Zayn's P.O.V

It had been three days since I went to the graveyard with Harry, and told him about how I would have to leave.

He obviously didn't take it very well, in fact, he wouldn't even look at me.

I know that he couldn't understand where I was coming from, at least not yet, but I was just leaving to ensure Harry's safety.

The Vipers' were after me, not Harry, not Niall, and not my family. I didn't want them to get stuck in the shit I started.

I planned to go to Bradford, where we used to live until Dad's business finally started taking off.

It was a small working-class city in West Yorkshire. Not a lot happened there, which was technically good since the Vipers were more dominant in the major cities.

I knew that they were watching me, I wasn't that dumb.

I would often feel someone's presence around me when I would be out in the streets, and I sometimes even caught cars following me on my way home. I knew that it could only be them, since the local street gangs wouldn't dare mess with me.

That was why I planned to take most of my gang to Bradford with me. I think we all needed some time away from London. There was a lot that happened here, and it would also give us some time to prepare for taking revenge on The Vipers. I hadn't forgotten what they did.

The attack on our headquarters had left us in a very bad position. A position that no one had expected my gang to be in. We had to leave behind a lot of very exceptional weapons, vehicles, personal belongings, and we had lost 18 lives, and abandoned our previous base, since the sound of gunshots and grenades had alarmed the people nearby, and the cops had been called.

The police officers had investigated the whole area, and even though Liam had tried his best to not leave any sign that would lead up to us directly, it was still pretty obvious that there was something suspicious going on there, and we couldn't return to that spot since the police had constantly been keeping an eye on it. They were aware of the existence of gangs in London, and some were even arrested by the police, but we had managed to keep our business confidential.

I had asked Louis and Liam to arrange some place for the gang to stay, since we were obviously a lot of people, which is why they had gone to Bradford with a few of the gang members a couple days ago.

They were able to find a building for a mall that had its construction paused for about two months, giving us enough time to live there since it was only temporary. I was told that there wasn't anything built inside the building itself, with no furniture nor any shops. There was just the structure of the building at the moment, and to be honest, it was actually a gold mine.

Another reason of why I was temporarily moving to Bradford with my gang was because that I needed to provide my gang with a place to live, and the tents that were put up for them over here really didn't make the cut, especially in contrast for the huge and modern building with its high tech in the headquarters we had to leave behind, which was another huge loss since the building cost a fortune and we didn't know when we could get it back yet.

My gang needed a place to live since the majority of my them had left their families to join the gang, like Louis and Liam. Many still laughed at how I lived with my parents despite being such a well known criminal, but I guess I needed to live with the best of both worlds.

I couldn't leave my family like they did, because I knew that it was the exact opposite of what Mum would want me to do. She always put her family before everything, and so did Dad, and I finally felt content with Anne playing the role of my mother, and was beginning to understand that my acceptance for her didn't mean any lack of love or loyalty for my Mum. I had changed a lot in the past year since Dad got married, and it was hopefully for the better.

Knowing that the Vipers knew exactly where I lived wasn't very comforting, and I hoped that when they would notice that I wasn't around anymore, they wouldn't try to come around my house or my family again.

Heyy. I know this chapter is short but it's just a connecting chapter to explain what is going on, and to get to know more about Zayn's gang, and about some stuff that wasn't explained before :)
