I don't know what to say I was bored so I wrote this one-shot enjoy I guess?

Explosions are heard as a red wolf was seen panting as he sprinted away from the direction the explosion where occuring.
A black masked jackal was sprinting next to him making sure his red companion was ahead of him.
They soon where far away enough as the red wolf fell to him knees sobbing silently to himself known as gadget a former member of the resistance.
The masked jackal known as Infinite a former war criminal sighed kneeling down next to him and brought him into a hug.
"What's wrong..?" Infinite asked after a moment of silence.
"It's.. just why I they even after us what did we do.." the red wolf answered after he calmed himself down.
Infinite sighed softly as he pulled his mask off revealing his blue (left) and amber/yellow (right) eyes with a scar across his left eye and he muttered "I don't know gadget but I promise nothing going to happen things will get back to normal okay?"
Gadget nodded his head as he hugged the jackal back closing his eyes tightly.
Infinite just let him sighing softly to himself silently.
