Chapter 2

(A/N)- Here's chapter 2.

Your POV

My body was glowing a bright white as I was blinded in a cloak of nothingness. " The town of beginnings why are we here" I exclaimed in a confused state.

I turned to my left and saw Klein in a bewildered state, but when I faced the right, kirito had his eyes wide open staring at the sky. I followed his gaze and saw a small warning sign. Instantly it started beeping and froze as I looked at the sky with now blood descending down.

The blood stopped half way and slowly formed into man.

"Kayaba Akihiko" I heard Kirito whisper.

"No way is this the opening ceremony or something, but we were never told about this in the manual" I explained with curiosity taking over me.

"I am Kayaba Akihiko, now most of you know that the log out button is missing. This is not a defect, I repeated this is not a fault. In fact I wanted it to be like this. From now on if you die in the game you die in real life.

The outside world can't help, if they attempt to remove the never gear your brain will be fryed." Kayaba stated

As fast as could I pulled down my menu and looked for the log out button. I was frozen in horror as I saw that the log out button really was missing.

Why was this happening, what did we do to deserve this. I glanced at Kirito he had his bangs covering his eyes and was whispering something.

" One last thing before I go I have placed a item in your storage, would you care to look." He Clearly stated.

I opened my menu again and searched through my storage in there I found a item unknown to me, it was a mirror. I placed the mirror in my hands and was again surrounded in a bright flash of nothingness.

Scanning the area once everything was normal, I noticed lots of people looked different. Now some boys were wearing girls clothes and were fat and ugly. I giggled in surprised. I looked at Kirito and gasped drastically.

"Who are you!" Was the first thing I said.

"I'm kirito who are you" Kirito exclaimed.

Kirito's POV

I looked at (Y/N) and saw her (Avatar H/L), (Avatar H/C) hair, was now (H/L)er with glossy (H/C) hair. Her eyes filled with (E/C) orbs that never seem to lack brightness. I was staring at her for a while before she waved her hand in front of my face.

"Oi Kirito what are you looking at" she said really annoyed. I looked different down at the mirror in my hand and saw my face in the real world.

So if this means I look like this, then that's what (Y/N) looks like.
I looked at Klein his straight smooth face was now rough and dirty. Instantly I bust out laughing.

Both (Y/N) and Klein looked at me confused. I pointed to the mirror and he looked at himself. He gasped and said

"Isn't this the high density scan, that scans your face when you first buy the nervegear." He exclaimed.
