Chapter 17 (Miss Them?)

Bertrand's Confessional: We looked outside through the window and saw this demonic man with a goat's head come out from a portal. Then it hits me, it's Baphomet.

"It's that the last gem?" Rafa pointed at a black-purplish gem in Baphomet's chest. "If that's it, how do we get it? We can only kill him if we have all 7 gems and the 7th is with him." Phillip asked. "I don't know, but we'll find away." Rafa comforted him. They took the map to see what's new in it. The Unholy Church, they read. They heard loud murmurs of whispers coming from one of the rooms in the museum. Following the whispers, they arrived in a mysterious room filled with mystical artifacts. "My staff." Diana mysteriously whispered. "With this, I can finally get my vengeance and kill that goat-head-demon." she laughed. "That's great! We can finally kill Baphomet!" Bertrand cheered. They quickly found a jar of green smoke filled with their dead friends' soul. The jar won't budge even after a few attempts of opening it. They even tried to break it and it's still intact. They took a notebook written with unknown languages besides the soul jar. They left together and went outside to kill Baphomet.

Phillip's Confessional: Who knew Diana was a sorceress this whole time!

"What did you do to my museum?!" Baphomet screamed. "It's funny how you think that you can escape my museum without my awareness. You thought wrong." he continued, raising his dark staff. "You mess with the wrong witch," Diana yelled, charging her glorious staff. The two battled it out before Diana finally killed Baphomet with the blade in her pocket. "Great, we finally have the last gem!" they cheered. Diana then looked back with the evilest smirk on her face. "I think we had enough fun. It's about time for you to return to your exhibit." she laughed. "You traitorous bitch! We fucking saved you-" Maximus shouted his lungs out before being struck by a magic beam from Diana's staff. They noticed that Baphomet's body began twitching before he rose back up and evilly laughed. "You think, you can kill me in my museum? My soul returns to my body every time I'm killed. Yours, however, will go to hell." he pointed to Diana.

Nashira's Confessional: If Diana can't kill Baphomet, how could we?

"Adoni, Helumnay, Peenay. Adoni, Helumnay, Peenay. The gods do command thee from thy majesty. Oh mapulamun. Adoni, Helumnay, Peenay, come forward blessed one. Now know your calling, come forward oh blessed one," Baphomet chanted and waved his staff. An army of undead people started walking out from the fog. "Remember them? Because they remember you." he bellowed. After a closer look, they realized it's their dead friends coming back from the dead. Jihad had skeletal body parts, Kenzie's body was decaying, Senna was missing an eye and an arm, Satya had missing limbs, Khaira had stab marks on her back, Shalom's intestine was pouring out of her stomach, Alya's head was stitched to her body, Turo had bruises on his neck, Leonna's body was severely burnt, Keiona had a huge wound on her chest, Nadhira's body was vertically stitched together and Gazel was alive once more with missing jaw and huge wound on his stomach. The undead armies chased the final four members while Diana and Baphomet began fighting again.

Rafa's Confessional: My worst nightmare was killing my friends, then it was losing Keiona, THEN IT WAS SEEING MY DEAD FRIENDS BECOME ZOMBIES RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY OWN EYES!

Now that Diana turned evil and Maximus is dead, no one is gonna guide them again. They gathered back to their haven which is the lounge. Rafa noticed that the notebook they found earlier has a similar symbol to the one behind the map. He puts it on top of the same symbol and the book began glowing. They opened it again and was surprised to see the unknown language turned to English. "Even though Baphomet can't be killed without the Mystical Circlet, he can be stopped and turned to a stone for a short amount of time using the Almighty Sword. The sword will be unveiled under the moonlight once you find all 9 artifacts located in different exhibits. If one of you is captured by the undead, you must place your hands onto the Warrior's Statue within two minutes or they will turn into an undead." they read the first two pages. "How are we gonna get away from their sight? There's like twelve of them and there's only 4 of us." Nashira panicked. "Whatever we do, promise to save the captured person, okay? We've been through a lot and I want to escape with you guys-" Rafa comforted everyone as undead Shalom and Leonna bashed into the lounge. Each of them hid behind a curtain and waited for them to leave. "The first artifact can be found hidden in the rotunda." Phillip read the notebook. He knew that the rotunda meant the Temple of Lakshmi, so they circled the museum to not get caught by the undead. With just a short glance, they found a golden Garuda artifact and put it in Nashira's pouch. "The next artifact can be found sleeping in the dead sands." Bertrand read the clue attached to the artifact.
