Virgil was getting better, but Remus still had things to work out. Will he recover?
~~Present day ~~
Remus woke up with a dull pain in his stomach. He noticed his torso was wrapped in white bandages. The boy sat up slowly, holding his head.
"You're awake!"
Remus looked up to see Roman grinning down at him.
"Yeah." Remus said, "what happened?"
Roman frowned, deflating a little, "You don't remember?"
"No, I don't." Remus sighed, "the last thing I remember is running out."
"You... you tore your guys out... literally." Roman said quietly, "you've been out for two days."
"Oh." Remus nodded, "I went insane again."
"Again?" Roman asked.
"Its nothing, it just happens sometimes." Remus waved it off.
Roman frowned, "I'm... gonna get Padre."
Remus nodded as Roman walked out. The boy sighed. He felt awful and now Patton and Logan won't want to deal with him and he'll be thrown out and-
"Kiddo?" Patton opened the door, "how are you feeling?"
"My stomach hurts." Remus said.
Patton sighed, walking up to the bed and hugging Remus, "it'll be okay kiddo."
"I'm sorry." Remus whispered, curling up in Patton's arms, "I'm so sorry."
"Hey, you did nothing wrong." Patton said, "when you're fighting someone, things happen. It's not your fault."
"But I'm sick." Remus sighed, "in my head. I go insane."
"We know." Patton carded his fingers through the boys hair, "I know someone who can help you with that."
"Huh?" Remus asked, "who?"
"His name is Dr. Emile Picani." Patton smiled, "he's a therapist. He helps people with mental illnesses, or people who just need a little direction in life."
"Oh." Remus said, "that doesn't sound... too bad?"
Patton giggled, "it's not. Emile always talks in cartoon references."
"Cartoon?" Remus asked.
"Oh dear," Patton sighed, "I guess we have some shows to watch while you and Virge recover."
"Virgil! How is he!?" Remus asked, sitting up a little to quickly.
"He's okay." Patton said, catching Remus, "You need to take it easy now. Lo found an antidote."
"Okay." Remus layed down.
Patton smiled, "are you hungry?"
Remus nodded, "yeah."
"Okay, I'll get you something to eat and call Emile." Patton said, ruffling the boys hair, "get some rest kiddo."
