Remus was back. Now they were able to find an antidote for Remus's poison. However, they still had to deal with Remus's mental state.

~~Present day ~~

It had been two days since Remus had come to live with Patton and Logan. Virgil hadn't recovered fully from the poison. Logan discovered it regenerated itself as it destroyed organic tissue.

"Hey Lo." Patton said, walking into his husband's office, "how's that antidote coming along?"

Logan ran his fingers through his hair, messing it up further, "it's not. I can't find a single thing that could stop it!"

Patton hugged the other, "you'll figure it out. Smartness is in your blood."

"Blood!" Logan exclaimed, "that's it! Remus isn't affected by his own poison! So what if Roman has an antidote in his blood!"

"Um, okay?" Patton tilted his head, "if that was the case then wouldn't Remus have the antidote too?"

Logan shook his head, "Remus has a natural immunity to it, something that can't be transferred. But because Roman and Remus are twins, Roman might be the cure!"

Patton giggled, "alright alright, calm down. I'll get Roman."

Logan nodded as Patton walked out of the room. Patton walked down to the room Remus was sleeping in. He knocked before opening the door.

"Hey kiddos." Patton whispered.

"Hi padre." Roman sighed, sitting at the end of the bed.

"How is he?" Patton asked, walking up to where Remus was asleep.

Roman sighed again, "he keeps mumbling things that I can't understand."

"Picani is gonna come when he wakes up." Patton said, "he and Lo said he was acting strange when they found him."

"Strange?" Roman asked, "strange like what?"

Patton shrugged, "I don't know. Oh! Also, Lo thinks you might be the key to the cure for Virge!"

"What!" Roman jumped up.

"Yeah! He said- and he's gone." Patton chuckled as Roman ran out of the room.

He looked at Remus laying on the bed. Remus hadn't woken up since he ran off a few days ago. Emile blamed himself for putting such a strong spell on him while he was so weak.

It tore Patton apart when they got him home, only to discover that the boy was covered in scars. They peiced together that Remus had cut open his own stomach.

Suddenly, cheering erupted from the next room. Patton walked out to the hall, only to be hugged moments later by Logan.

"We did it!" Logan laughed, "We just need to a blood transfusion!"

"That's great! But-" Patton was cut off by Roman.

"I'm type O! A universal doner!" Roman smiled.

"We can cure Virgil now." Logan smiled.

Patton took Logan's hand, "then let's get started!"
