We were getting ready for tonight's show. Catie was pretty nervous. I already told her even though she won't get any award I'm still proud of her.
"Ready?" Cate asked me.
"Yeah, let's go?"
"Catie sweetie where are you?"
"Hewe" My daughter showed up wearing a dress her and Cate bought before.

We reach the auditorium and it was packed. Twenty minutes left before they start announcing the winner.
"Are you okay Mama?" I looked down at Catie who's holding my hand.
"Kind of, you?"
"Mhmm Yes! Cause you said you still pwoud of me even I don't have any awards" I hugged my daughter.
"Let me join" Cate whined. I rolled my eyes and do another group hug.
"Finally I have complete family" Before I could even react to what Catie said the host start the show.
"Tonight we were going to know the top 5 who win the competition!" They show fast recap of previous performances of ten kids.
"May I call the ten kids here in the stage"
I let go of Catie hands.
"Goodluck" I murmured.
Damn, I'm more nervous than my kid.
"Are you all excited? Cause I do. " He chuckled.
"Alright kids. I'm gonna call five kid who made it to the top 5" A long pause before he said the name.
"Aliyah Candace Kim!" I looked down and saw a Japanese kid who's jumping.
"Maybel Shawn" It's a cutie black girl.
"Tiffany Russel" It's a red headed kid.
Two more kids left.
"Kakie Sloan"
I gulped before he announced the last kid.
"And for the last Catie Jackson!"
"Oh god Catie made it to the top 5!" I can't help but to hug Cate.
"Told yah she can do it"
The other five kid some of them where crying when they left the stage.
"For the fifth place, Tiffany Russel!"
The red headed kid get the award with her mom.
"The fourth place goes to........ Kakie Sloan!"
The third place goes to Maybel Shawn.
Oh god it's only Catie and Aliyah was left.
"Okay kids, the name I'm going to say was the first place okay?"
Both of them nodded. They both hold hands.
"The first place goes to....................Catie Jackson!"
CATIE WAS THE WINNER!!
I practically ran in the stage to hug my baby!.
"Oh god baby you made it!"
"I did Mama!" The host gave the biggest trophy to Catie.
"Good job kid! Make your Mama proud" Me and Catie turn our head and saw Cate holding a bouquet.
"Thank you Mommy Cate!" Catie hugged Cate.
"This is for you" Cate handed the bouquet, it's not too big but not too small either.
"It's beautiful!"
"C-catie! Hi" I saw the 2nd place winner Aliyah walked towards Catie.
"Hello Aliyah congrats for both of us" They both hugged.
"How is it feel?" I hugged Cate.
"I'm happy, super happy!"
"Let's go, let's have midnight snack"
"Let's call Catie" We saw my baby walking towards us.
"What happened to you and your face was so red?"
"uhmmm Aliyah call me beautiful and she told me she wants me to be her friend"
"Catie was gay like you" Cate whispered to my ear. I did elbow her stomach. She start laughing and Catie was looking at us weirdly.
"That's good, let's go for some snacks it's your Aunty Cate's treat.
"Yayyyy!" At this part this is my first time felt happy.
