I already finished cooking 3 dishes for my baby's birthday. We decided to celebrate here in my condominium. Now that I already mentioned to my Mom about transferring Catie here in the City I already plan to buy a house. I save up so much money after running the bar. Also mom wants to renovate our old house and make it our vacation house instead.
I finish cooking the carbonara I turn off the electric stove and place the cooked pasta in the table. Anytime soon Catie and Mom will get here. I asked my Mom to bring Catie to the mall so I could prepare the little suprise just for her.
I go to my room and strip down my clothes. I badly want to shower. I immediately turn the shower on and I moan when I felt the hot water hit my skin.
This feels good
I almost cursed myself when a memory of Cate pop up in my mind where we have shower together. Why I have to remember that? Now I'm annoyed fuck.
After spending half an hour in the shower I left the bathroom and pick a comfortable clothes to wear.
Just in the time I heard the doorbell rang. I pick up my phone to check if mom already send me the signal. Instead of Mom's text I got Elizabeth telling me she's outside.
I open the door and saw Elizabeth holding three gifts with her twin.
"Hey come in guys."
"Hi Auntie We miss you!" Both girls sync when they greet me.
"I missed too you!" Once the three of them settled in sofa I close the door. You don't want some creepy neighborhood going inside to your condominium.
Elizabeth distance herself from her kids so they won't heard our conversation.
"So did you fall in love with her?' " She straight up ask.
"Fall in love with whom?"
"Stop playing dumb Anna it's not gonna work for me." She clearly was annoy by my answer.
"Well this what happens-" I tell her what happen after the competition of Catie to accident that happen in my bar one week ago.
"I told you to stay out trouble. What you gonna do now? Are you going to move on from her? I mean I can still see that you love her dispite of what happen." She was right, I still can't forget Cate. I didn't know what she did to me but fuck me if she and her fiance got married. Maybe I'll just start moving on after her wedding. Who knows?
Before I can answer Beth I saw a text saying that Catie was already wearing the blindfold in the elevator.
"Shit Catie is here!" I shouted and put my phone down and pick up the two confetti cannon I gave the other one to Elizabeth. While the twins was in charge in the lights.
It's really dark and no one was talking. I heard voices from the outside I can't tell if it's Mom or a complete stranger.
The knob open and I saw Catie in blindfold. We let them walk inside first before blowing everything. I count on 3 before I twist and cannon and exploded.
"SURPRISE! HAPPY BIRTHDAY CATIE!"
Catie was smiling ear to ear while looking around and I did the same. I didn't know I have unexpected guest. Who would thought I would saw her today on my daughter's birthday party.
