We are on our way back to my Mom's house. Both Cate and Catie was knocked out in the backseat. They spend their time teasing each other until they fall asleep. I smiled seeing Cate wrapped her both arms around Catie's. We have one week left before Cate left to prepare for her wedding. It saddened me.

I never thought this thing will be so complicated to me.
"Hey" I looked back and I saw Cate woke up.
"We almost there"
I saw my Mom house and parked in the garage.
"We're here" I turn off the engine and get my baggages.
"I'm gonna carry Catie" Cate's volunteer.
"Okay"
I get Cate's luggages and put it inside.
"She's really knocked off", Cate tucked in Catie's in her room.
" I know, I'm sleepy"
"Me too"
"Let's cuddle" I smirked and walked inside my room.

I heard a knock in my door. I slowly slipped from Cate's arms. We're both naked in my bed. I wear my robe and answer the one who knock.
"Yes?"
"Mama" I hear Catie's sad voice.
"What is it sweetie?" I close the door, not to disturb Cate. I picked her up and sat down in the couch.
"I had a bad dream", my daughter confess.
"Oh"
"Yeah and in my dreams Mama I saw you leaving me a-again", she start crying. I console my daughter and hugged. I let her cry on me chest.
"Hey that's not true. I should apologize for the years that I missed. I really regret it. I thought it's okay to left you in your grandma but I was wrong. I didn't realize that my daughter also need her mother" I caress her small back till she stop crying. Crying turn to sobbing and it stopped eventually.
I looked at her and saw her fall asleep. I let her sleep in the coach. I tugged her with her favorite blanket and kissed her forehead. I should start making dinner.
I was busy finding some ingredients for tonight's dinner when Mom came home.
"Hi dear"
"Hello Mom" She kissed my forehead.
"So how's Catie's competition?"
"She won, look at that trophy" I point the trophy placed in the top of cabinet.
"I knew it! I'm going to treat her tomorrow! And no you can't stop me for spoiling my grandchild"
"Yeah you can, I'm gonna take a rest tomorrow" as I began to chop the onions and garlic.
"Oh please just tell me straight that you both going to fuck non stop"
I rolled my eyes and set aside the chopped ingredients.
"Tell me Anne. What's the real catch between you and Cate?" My mom lean forward in the counter.
"No, I won't tell you" as I play with her. She's going to be more curious.
"You sucked" I just laughed and watch her leave me in the kitchen.
"You sucked too Mom!" I shouted from the counter as she gave me a middle finger.

We finished the dinner as I lay in my bed with Cate beside me.
"Cate"

"Are you awake?"
"No, I'm sleep talking to you"
"Funny" I roll over and faced her.
"Hi" She greet me
"Hello, is it hurt?"
"Hurt what?"

"Cause Lucifer once an angel and he fell from heaven" I rolled my eyes.
"No idiot, I'm saying that you are so beautiful that you almost looked like an angel. Anyway wanna come?"

Cate wore her jacket because it was chilly today since winter was right in the corner.
