Watch this clip before you read. It's really cute, and besides the awkwardness between them, it sort of describes the position in the morning without being all dirty haha. -S
Chapter 3
When I woke up, I felt comforted. I felt really safe, not to mention really warm. I opened my eyes, and realized Nick was around me. He must have rolled over from his side. I felt really normal, even though it was a pretty awkward position. He didn't have a shirt on, and his muscular arms were around me perfectly. I was in pure ecstasy. The sun was shining, and I looked at the clock. It was 10:02 on a Saturday morning. My shirt had ridden up higher than my belly button, and our legs were tangled. He began to stir, and I turned to him just as his eyes opened.
"Uh, sorry, I didn't mean to" he said. "I know," I replied, "Can I take a shower?" I asked. "Sure," he said.
I took a pretty short shower. My hair was already pretty clean, and I wrapped myself in a towel. I grabbed my clothes, and walked out of the bathroom, right into Nick's (non-lookalike) twin brother Damon.
"Sarah?" he seemed really surprised. "What are you doing here? Are you...and Nick....?" He motioned to my towel, and I laughed.
"Oh no, I'm just crashing here for a bit, if that's okay. Until I find my own place or something."
"Okay..." he walked back into his room, and I went into Nicks just as he was about to open the door.
"Hey," he said, slightly stunned. You know that feeling when guys aren't looking at you, rather down at your boobs. Well, while not being as creepy as when perverts are doing it, he was.
"Hey, so I don't really have anything to do. I was wondering if you had any plans with the guys or something. I haven't seen them in awhile," said quickly, waiting for him to look back up at my eyes. Eventually, he did.
"Oh yeah, we were gonna have another band practice to share the lyrics. Hey, you should come. Cole told me about that project we did for Humanities class, with the rhyming. He said you were really badass." I laughed. "Yeah, okay. I'll just go get dressed," I said. He went downstairs, and I put on some True Religion dark wash jeans, a short, slim, black Bob Marley shirt that showed a bit of skin, a few necklaces, my leather jacket, and converse. I brushed my hair back, dabbed on a bit of mascara and I was done. I walked downstairs to see Cole eating breakfast with Nick and Damon.
"Hey," I said, smiling. "Sarah!" Cole practically yelled. "Wow, it's been awhile."
"I know, right." We ate, talked about what I'd missed, and put our plates away.
"Is she coming?" Cole asked Nick. "Yeah," he answered. I grabbed Nick's acoustic (he didn't trust me to carry the electric, for good reasons) and we walked to the bus stop. When the bus got there, I paid, and followed the guys to the back. Everyone looked at us as we walked, but we really didn't care. When we got to Rick's, Adrian was already there. He was on the steps, strumming away on his soundless bass (his amp wasn't plugged in). He looked up as he saw we were coming.
"Sarah, hey!" he said. "Cole said you'd be coming."
Of course he did.
Kind of weird ending, but its just the chapter. Hope you liked it. VOTE!!! COMMENT!!! Let me know what you think of it J
