Chapter 4

I walked into his office and cleared my throat. He looked up from his work and looked back down like he didn't see me.

" yes" he said coldly. Shivers ran down my spine by how cold he was being.

" yes I'm your new assistant so weres my office" I said with a same tone of voice.

He looked up and this time his eyes stayed on me looking at my outfit and starring at me like I was a pics of meat and I was his next meal.

" I think they might of made a mistake" he said picking up the phone.

I walked over to him and grabbed the phone.

" I think I know what they said and I don't think there's another fornand." I said.

He nodded and pointed to a little desk by the door and I sat down and started doing what he told me.

By lunch I had almost everything done and I stood going to the cafe I saw earlier when I was walking here.

When I was about to walk out I felt someone's hands on my hips and a familiar voice next to my ear.

" I need you to come with me to a lunch meeting.. If you dont mind" he said he let go and I straightened up and grabbed my bag.

I nodded and tried not to fall. My legs were shaking but I knew if I gave him the satisfaction that he had that power over me he wouldn't stop.

I held my head up high and walked in the elevator. The awkward silence was in the air and I thanked the heavens when he got a call.

His deep voice rang threw the small elavator and he had his poker fave were I couldn't see his expressions.

He ended his call and looked at me. I looked down blushing realizing I was staring at him.

I ran out of the elavator trying to get,away from the tension but bumped into someone. It was a chest a string chest I looked up to a pair of soft  hazel eyes and I blushed scarlet.

" I'm so sorry sitbi wasn't looking and yea" i said awkwardly. The man smiled and shook his head

"Its fine just what are your walking next time"he said I smiled and walked around him to catch up with Blake.

He looked at me from the corner of his eyes and kept walking.

"Damn you don't have to be such a prick." I,said catching up to him.

" well maybe if you weren't flirting with the people you bump into we wouldn't have this problem." He said cold and bored

" you know maybe if you weren't such a jealous asshole you would of.."

"Of what Kayla at least my parents are alive and well not butchered up by some freak so why don't you stop telling me shit I already know" he fixed his jacket and jeot walking I punched the side of his face and slapped him. He looked surprised and grabbed the part I hit him. By thus time I problabky had steam coming out of my ears.

I wiped a tear that fell from my eye and looked at him.

" at least I know how to act like a human being and not act like a fucking loser who works all day at a stupid company and have a decent life not having to worry weather or not my life is fucked up" I said before walking away and entering the resterant.
