Chapter 10

I woke up to pain on my cheek and looked around the room hoping Blake would be here. But he wasn't.

I went to the bathroom and found red and purple on my cheek. I wiped a tear that fell and took a shower. I put on makeup to cover up the bruise.

I put on my black long sleeve and my light jeans with my sandals and put my hair in a messy bun. I grabbed mg purse and went downstairs.

I saw Joey and Blake talking in the kitchen. I smiled that Blake was here and walked over to them.

"Morning" I said softly. Both their heads turned to me and Blake smiled softly. He walks over to me and put a hand on my face.

" can we talk" he said I smiled and nodded he led me to the backyard and sat down on one of the chairs.

" Joey told me everything Kayla" he started just when I was about to speak he kept talking.

"I'm not sure what to think and I'm sorry I left you when you most needed me but I promise that I won't leave anymore." He said bringing me closer. I hugged him and closed my eyes only feeling him and surfing myself by his smell. I felt so calm and safe. But I knew that I couldn't be with him.

" I love you Blake and I can't explain the love I feel for you... I have never felt this way about someone and I care too much for you and that's why I can't be your girlfriend" I said my voice breaking at the end.

He shook his head a tear escaped his eye. He looked at me with much love and sadness it broke my heart.

"No Kayla you cant do this to me, I love you and I'm willing to risk anything for us." He stood up and walked back and forth as if thinking something threw.

" we can go somewhere far we can leave here we can vanish without anybody noticing..I I I love you too much to let you go I'm not letting you go Kayla damit" he grabbed a fistfull of his hair and got on his knees in front of me.  I wiped the tears that were falling and closed my eyes.

"I'm sorry" I whispered when I opeemd my eyes Blake just stood up now angry and threw a little box to the floor. He left angryly and slammed the door.

I got the black box and opened it to see an engagement ring. I gasped and clutched it tightly. My hand shaking I grabbed it and out it on. I smiled and regreted saying those things. He wanted to marry me and I was to much of an idiot to let him go.

I put the ring back and went inside. Joey was on the couch looking at me.

" he didn't leave you know" he said I looked up and sat down next to him.

" what do you mean" I said he smiled and grabbed my hand.

"He really loves you Kay and he said he was gonna be wating in a motel he was staying in and if your not there by midnight he's gonna cut you out forever" I nodded and knew my decision.

I had to do this. I knew I did whether or not I was miserable or in danger.

I went upstairs and got my stuff. Knowing that I couldn't stay here any longer.

I know that its short but I have too much homework and projects. I promise to update more tho.
