Chapter 13

I woke up and sat there not thinking about anything. My mind was a blank slate. Until all my memories started flooding back. I sighed just thinking about it and shook my head. I took a warm shower and let all the tension out. I got out and tow dried my hair. It didn't take long considering it was short.

I put on my light jeans and my black loose shirt. I put a white cardigan on top and my wedges and let my hair in curly waves. I put on some makeup levaing myself in a cat eye and lip balm.

I grabbed my bag and headed to work. I didn't feel like dressing up so I wore this. Plus its cute.

I got to the office and said hi to everyone and went up to Isabel's office. I didn't knock because we were used to just walking in. But man was that a mistake.

I walked in on Isabel against the wall and Blake missing her neck. I gasped and closed the door. I felt tears on the beige of my eyes but I wiped them and took a breath.

" I'm fine I'm fine perfectly fine" I convinsed myself even tho inside I knew I was a disaster.

I went tk my office which was unconveniently next to Isabel's.

I was finishing some paper work when someone knocked on the door. I said a soft come in and the person I unexpectedly thought I was gonna see walked in.

"Kevin hi" I said smiling. He smiled back and walked over in a white shirt and dark jeans.

" hello Kayla, I stopped by to drop off these papers and to ask you out to lunch" he said waiting for an answer.

" yea I would like that" I said grabbing my bag. And following him to the elevator.

When the doors closed he looked at me and had a dark look in his eye.

" you look beatiful today Kayla" he said his voice dark.

" thank you" I said my voice low. He grabbed my waist and kissed me. I put my hand on his chest and kissed back. He pulled me against the wall and stared kissing my neck. I let out a low moan and it seemed to give him the boost he needed. He lifted my leg and rubbed my tigh.

He kissed me again and heard the elevator ding making us pull apart and saw some people get on. I fixed my hair and looked at Kevin. He had a smirk on his face and I looked at the mirror to see my lips red and a hickey on my neck. I covered my cardigan to cover the hickey and my eyes wide I looked at kevin. The elevator doors opened and I followed him outside.

" you gave me a hickey!" I said punching him. He chuckled and opened the door of his car and let me in.

I rolled my eyes and when we got to the restaurant he opened the door. I thanked him and went inside. The restaurant was little and cute. It wasn't such a big deal but you could tell it cost money.

I sat down and looked at the menu. It all looked so costly but such little food.

" what do you usually get when you come " I asked looking up at Kevin.

" the meatball and mashed potatoes its the best thing." I smiled and closed my menu. When the waiter came I got the same thing as Kevin and in five minutes my food was in front of me. We are in silence and I laughed when ever he made a joke.

The food was amazing and he was right about the meatballs. When we got out of the restaurant I bumped into Blake and looked up to him smiling with Isabel. I looked down and tried not to look at them.

How come he never smiled like that with me? Was there something missing ? I tried to keep looking down not baring to see his face.

" oh my god Kayla I didn't think you guys will be here why don't you guys join us and have a piece of cake or soemthing!" She said making me look up at her.
