Reflection

Something or someone, they all thought. The Library it had came from, had a grand mirror in the back left corner. There Day would find herself fixing her hair time to time. It was dusty, as many did not notice it. It somehow seemed like it knew the cut would come. As the body was still unconscious, the mind felt like it was in a war. Repeating something over and over in its mind.

Today Crybaby and Himedere would go outside to play a bit. They where quite childish, as Jaden put it. Their world long ago was cursed with a dark spell. Leaving the world they inhabited to slowly rot. Colors began to fade, and things began to collapse. Their world was a parallel world to another. Just a simple reflection.

They didn't mind their world. At all actually, they where great full for the things they did have. Cry brushed his coal black hair, moving his bangs slightly as his third eye sadly looked down at him. Hime waited, tapping her almost black purple boots. Jaden sat on his rocking chair, reading a book about birds. As they walked out the sky shined a beautiful purple hue. It was going to be a nice day.

Crybaby and Himedere worked hard as they figured a way to drag some of them over to their dimension. They would use Spooky for the time being to test this. He didn't like it, but he was still hopeful his mother would get him out of this. Hime smiled, she knew how. Cat's house had ties to the other realm. They just needed to get close enough so then, it could all be there's.

The power just one of their reflection had was tremendous. Their world was so rich of everything, anything they needed. After which they came into the village, they just needed whoevers reflection came through. Didn't matter, as they would break them up like shards using it to feed themselfs.

Hime and Cry chased each other, making sure not to stumble and fall over the roots, and rough rocks blocking their path. Cry wasn't as fast as Himedere, and his feet hurt way worst than hers. Her boots where good for this terrain. His where old, and definitely worned out. Hime giggled, knowing he wouldn't catch up for a while.

Cry tried to catch his breath, but tripped on a root. Landing right onto some smaller rocks. A loud thud and sound of a crack made Hime turn around. Cry tries to push himself, it hurt a lot. Under his eye cracked straight down to his mouth. It would heal very slowly, but it would be fine. ''Oh cmon, it looks fine get up'' Said Hime, tears began to fill into his eyes. ''You seriously aren't going to cry are you?'' She said coming over to him.

They walked the way back home, his eyes began to hurt from all the crying. It was his name after all, or well that's what they called him. Hime promised to bandage it when they got home. As they walked his knees down to his feet ached, she really didn't care about all this pain he was it? Of course he knew he was weaker than her, everyone was stronger than him.

As they opened the door, and stepped inside. Jaden was in their kitchen, making coffee. Boy, did he overwork himself today. Work, work, work it seemed like that's all he ever does. ''Go upstairs'' ordered Hime. Cry did as she said, he knew she rather talk to Jaden. They smiled and talked, leaving Cry upstairs with a untreated crack.

It all seemed like it was going to plan, they began to walk to their new church. How lucky they where, but as soon as they began to walk. Some royal guards quickly fallowed. Oh how annoying, thought Cry. Jaden growled, still having blood staining his mouth and claws. Himedere would have to put that necklace on him as soon as they got inside. He was unstable, and could lash out at anytime.

Spooky was scared, so was Peach. They hated how the cult was spreading, Peach knew of their plans. If she speak a word, she be executed, and her sons treatment even worse. She felt bad for their son Scary, it seemed like they forgotten him at times. Her and Akari got to talk about it, Akari promised it as a secret. She wasn't in the cult, as Peach was forced. She hoped they never learn about her and Akari's conversations.

As they began to set up the church, of course the basement would again be their main place for the rituals. Himedere and Cry where excited. Tomorrow they would have their precious shards, and next the kingdom. Jaden curled up much like a dog, and fell asleep. It was night, and it was their time. Their favorite time of the entire day.

Cry felt something, behind him. Hands, tons of black colored hands, with sharp claws digging into his skin. He screamed, pain coerced all throughout his body. Turning him slowly black, and dragging him away. ''Ugh, the little baby is crying better go check on him.'' Home sad, ''heh, yeah'' Jaden said as he looked back down at what he was doing.

She went upstairs, opening his door. There was nothing, but black blood. Oh no, oh no. He couldn't, there's no way. Where was he? She looked around, nowhere! She ran back downstairs to Jaden. ''We have a code blue!'' Jaden's eyes widen. ''No.. you're kidding'' They haven't had one scene 19##. ''Would I kid about something as serious as this?! Call the Queen. Immediately.''

As the doctor examined the body, he realized the black started to fade away. It's hair was gray, eyes blue, mouth blue, purple bandana, red shirt. Almost like Crybaby, but seemed weaker, much weaker. Skin to the eye to mouth seemed to crack like glass, beginning to get bigger and shattering. Cuts along the arms, shirt torn in places, leaving black liquid in some places. Didn't seem to need to breath, the body is alive, but the mind may not. All of this he was writing in his notes. For tomorrow, would be the day he would indeed wake up.
