I got up off of Dylan and made my way to the first place I'd think he'd be at, the front yard working. Now the only reason why I'd say some dumb shit like that is mainly that I see him; standing in the front yard of the school... working.
As I started to make my way towards him, a vast figure stood in front of me. I looked up at Alvin and glared at him. "Move outta my way, Giant!"
He chuckled. "No, you need to get your ass back to work before Alpha has two things to be pissed about."
"And what the hell would he be pissed for?"
He sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. "First off, Dumb ass, you put your hands on the Alpha of this pack. Now let me remind your stupid ass that the Alpha doesn't know about him being your mate, so he'll take it as you disrespecting his name and ability to control you. Second, you have to work. I'll take over the lessons now, and you can watch and be on guard duty throughout the school."
"Na, I need to talk to Vic--"
"Cassie, considering how you disrespected him earlier this morning, I highly doubt that he'll be calm enough to listen to you and not get pissed when he finds out what you did."
Ugh! Did he always have to make sense? "Fine." He grinned.
"Alright, now go start taking care of things around the school OK?"
I nodded. "Where to?"
He stared at me. "You fucking serious? Everywhere!"
Ugh! He likes to be a fucking smart ass. I shook my head and walked in the opposite direction. Away from Victor and back to the horrible school that caused most of my misery. Great now I have to sit here and babysit some bratty ass kids. I sighed in frustration. Then I heard my name being called and turned around. The sight in front of me was a very pissed off looking Jessica, who thought she had an effective glare on me. It only made me want to laugh.
"What do you want, Two-face?" I snapped. Everyone that was in the hall stopped and stared in our direction. Watching, waiting.
"You can't just come on to my land and act any way you please!" No, she didn't just say her land. This wasn't even her land. This land belonged to Dylan and his... Luna. His mate. But I wasn't ever going to be, because he didn't want. Like he said two years ago. He never would.
"Oh yeah and what are you going to do about it?" Then the bitch did something stupid. Even for this two face whore who thought she could get her way. This was a new one. She came up to me and punch me in the jaw. I didn't fall. Now don't get me wrong the punch hurtled, surprisingly, but would never. I never repeat, fall to the mercy of anybody.
"That's what I'm going to do you bitch!" I had to give this chick some credit. She was brave, and she was stupid and being brave and being stupid were two different things. I decided to take matters into my own hands and show this bitch just how stupid she was.
I slapped the living shit out of her causing her to fly across the hall, hitting the wall. When she fell to the floor unconscious, I saw I had made another hole in the wall. Dammit! I needed to have someone fix those.
"Cassandra!" I looked up at Victor. He was livid. He features tight with anger, and his anger flushed red with embarrassment from all the stares. I stepped back, shaking my head. I didn't mean it. Well, I didn't mean to beat the bitches ass, but I didn't mean to piss him off again. Duh stupid! If you did this, you'd piss him off anyhow! "Get the fuck outta here!" He order and I ran out of that school faster than you'd ever thought I would.
When I was a good mile away from the school, away from Victor, I started to slow down. I was walking for about ten minutes when his scent came to me. Cherries. I smiled. Sam. Sam was like my father or at least a father I always wanted. I started to run towards the smell, slime on my face. I couldn't wait to see him. Then I saw him. Not Sam, but Dylan. He was bending on the ground... crying...? Why was he crying? And what was he crying for?
I just realized then that I didn't look at my surroundings. I was in the cemetery. What was Dylan doing here? And where was Sam? I could see him. His scent was everywhere.
"Dylan..." His head snapped up; he looked at me.
He began to wipe the tears off his face. "Sorry."
"Why are you apologizing?" I asked.
He shook his head. "For everything." He got up and began to walk away, stopping he turned around and looked at me. "I truly am sorry, Cassie. I can't believe it took for him to leave me for me to see it." And with that, he left. Leaving me alone and lost. What did he mean? What was he talking about?
I looked at the spot Dylan got up from; I fell to my knees as I read the headstone he was in front of.
Alpha Sam Jackson
October 19,1967 -- September 15, 2011
Beloved father, husband, and Alpha
You will be missed.
I shook my head. No! Please no! He couldn't be gone! Not Sam! I began to cry as well.
I didn't know how long I sat there crying. All I could think about was that he was dead. And the sad yet crazy about all this; he died on my birthday.

Sorry, it's so short! I've been doing that lately... (making short chapters) I promise to make the next one longer. Just in case anyone got confused with the ending. Sam didn't die the day Cassie left; he did die on her birthday a year after she left. You'll find out how in a little while. ;)
I also want to apologize for making the last couple chapters sad... I didn't mean to... I'll start to pick it back up with the humor! :D But I had to get these last little parts out before I exploded! :D Tell me what you think!
