The Hunt (Original Story)

Caught

Dave quickly turned around to see the girls swimming, but a dark figure meters behind them, moving quickly. His eyes widened as the girls noticed, they all turned around to see the creature. They all quickly turned back towards Dave and began swimming faster as the creature seemed to be toying with them.
Meanwhile at the school a creature ran through the open door and went to the manhole just outside and dived through, making its way into the sewers as the officers all ran out of the building to try and find the creature.
"We lost the damn thing!" The captain said as the unconscious officer quickly regained it.
"What happened!?" The officer being held by two others said.
"Take it easy Foreman, you're safe" The captain said.
"I saw that thing, it attacked me! I thought it was going to fill me!" Foreman said in a sweat.
"Well it didn't, listen, you have to get ready for tomorrow with your family, these men will drive you home and you get a good night's rest alright?" The Captain said putting his hand on the officer's shoulder.
"T-thank you captain.....I'll be back in a week" Foreman said as he slowly began to calm down.
"See you in a week" The Captain said as Foreman was carried off by the two other officers and put in the car and driven towards his home.
Back in the Sewers the group of four began swimming as fast as they could, the little girl however was dragging behind. The creature could attack at any moment it so pleased, but like a predator, it was picking them off one at a time, waiting for the weakest to show itself, and it has.
Olivia noticed this and reached for the little sister of Rich and pulled her forward, however this slightly pushed her back. The creature locked into Olivia and began showing teeth, clocking into the area around it. Olivia's eyes widened as she continued swimming only to be grabbed by her ankle and pulled. The grab caught her off guard and made her expel oxygen quickly. Isabella looked back to see Olivia being pulled away by the creature.
The remaining three resurfaced and quickly went onto land and began coughing.
"We just left her!" Isabella said as she shoved Dave to the side.
"That wasn't my idea!" Dave yelled at her.
"She....she pulled me forward" the girl said.
"That's cute and all, but what even is your name?" Dave asked.
"Sydney" She said.
"Ah Sydney, Olivia saves Sydney, there, does that make you feel better about our rate of survival dropping faster than the titanic?" Dave said.
Meanwhile Olivia was being dragged across the ground by the creature, she is barely hear things and is for the most part unconscious. The creature then stopped before opening its gills up and began vibrating them. Another creature uncloaked in front of the one dragging Olivia across the ground. Both began vibrating their gills until they both passed each other. The creature dragging Olivia continued moving forward as it then stopped and began looking around and let go of her ankle. It placed its hand on her face and put her against the wall where it then opened its gills and began secreting slime. It covered Olivia's body, so whenever she woke up she wouldn't be able to move as freely. The creature roared as it finished secreting the slime and began walking away.
"What's going on....where's my daughter?" A male voice was heard, catching the attention of the creature. It was the same man from the subway massacre.
"What are you?!" He yelled out when he saw the creature growling at him.
