Chapter 9

"Sanem, if you haven't had your first kiss yet, who would you want to have your first kiss with?"

Finally I see a smile on her face. Her eyes slowly opened and we starred at each other. I see her eyes move lower to my lips and she is inspecting them for a little while before she said

"I think we both know the answer to this question, don't we?"

Now I can't hide my smile any longer.

"So, if I would be to tell you that I am interested in you, to get to know you and spend more time together, how would you react to that?"

She seems very shy when she smiles and I can't read her face even if I try to. She seems happy with what I said but I got panic not knowing if she would agree.

"Look. I am not trying to push you for anything you don't want. I think honesty is very important between two people and I don't want to hide anything from you. I know you are freaked out about the whole dating thing so let's not call it "a date", let's call it rather 'getting to know each other better' how does that sound?"

"Hmm, I guess that doesn't sound too scary and it would make me really happy. I really want to get to know you better too. You know, you bring out something inside me that I have never experienced before and that is exciting and terrifying at the same time."

Note to myself: I need to ask her more about that but not tonight. She has experienced a lot and her feelings are all over the place.

I can't stop smiling and I am still caressing her face with my hands.

"What, why are you smiling like that?" she asks.

"You just make me really happy right now. I haven't felt like this in a very long time."

"Me neither."

I lean forward and kiss her left cheek gently. She froze for a second but relaxes quickly. I wanted her to feel my lips on her and I wanted to touch her skin with my own.

I turned back to look at her and her eyes was closed and a shy smile appeared on her face.

"Can?"

"Hmm?"

"This felt nice." She said with closed eyes.

"Yeah? How about this?"

I turn her face just slightly and kiss her other cheek. Trying to make it last even more this time. Her smile widenes and a moan escapes her lips and I swallow hard. I was only kissing her cheek, what will happen if we... No don't go on with this thought Can.

"This feels even better...Can what are you doing to me?"

I turned back and asked her to open hey eyes.

"Hey look at me, there is no reason for you to be nervous around me, tamam? You can talk to me about everything and tell me in case you have any fears or whatever else is going on in that pretty head of yours. Deal?"

"Deal".

Silence took over as we gaze at each other, going back and forth from eyes to lips and I was so close to lose myself in her. But I knew better.

"I would really, really like to kiss you right now but I don't want you to remember your first kiss to be inside a car, in front of my garage. You deserve so much more than that. And besides you did drink some alcohol today and I would really like you to remember that experience."

She blushes again and I just had to ask her something that was wondering inside my mind.

"How come you are all nervous and shy right now but when you were standing in front of that window earlier today you didn't seem nervous at all. You looked very confident."
