Chapter 15

The Yamanaka suddenly performed her clan's famous hand sign and screamed, "MIND TRANSFER JUSTU!"

Her body collapsed, and the villager who had the tightest grip on Sakura, the shopkeeper, suddenly froze. His face moulded from a surprised expression to a very angry one. He punched both of his subordinates, making the husband and wife fall to the ground, and Sakura free.

"Quick! Get her unconscious body before her soul gets back into it!" The book seller's wife screeched at her husband.

The man got back on his feet and charged at the defenceless sleeping girl, until a blob of red stood in front of her, "Don't. Touch. Her." Her usually calm sea foam green eyes glaring at him menacingly.

Ino, in the shopkeeper's body attacked the woman with blows, while Sakura protected Ino's body as she dodged the villager's attacks, with substitution jutsu and threw kunai knives.

Attempting to avoid another kunai, the book seller managed to catch it and told his wife, "I'm going to search the village for him and kill him with this!"

This caught Sakura off guard as she realised something, "Naruto...!"

"Sakura, it's alright!" Ino shouted as she blocked the woman's weak punches, "I'll go fend them off when you warn them! Don't let them follow you!" She undid the jutsu, going back into her own body, punching the shopkeeper she once swapped minds with.

The girl nodded, with determination and quickly ran away. Unfortunately, the book seller and his wife went after her.

"Crap!" The Yamanaka cursed under her breathe as she saw them get away.

Distracted, this allowed the villager she was fighting to slap her cheek, "Stupid girl! Do you really think it's a good idea to help the monster?!"

Ino grinned like a maniac, appearing as if she might kill someone, "You... do not..." she gritted her teeth then suddenly swung her leg hard into the man's balls, "... SLAP A YOUNG LADY!!"

Due to the impact, the villager shook in pain and clutched his crotch, falling to his knees. The blonde girl took the opportunity to take some wire out of the small brown satchel attached to her lower back and tied him. She smirked and announced, "I'm reporting you to the Anbu Black Ops!"

Running as fast she could, Sakura dashed past all the village streets and was making her way towards the forest. As the villagers tailing behind her got further and further away, she decided to play the old trick where you turn a different corner. She sighed in relief as they lost track of her. She sprinted to the bridge they always met at on the outskirts of the village.

"Naruto!" She screamed as she saw two figures ahead of her, "Sasuke-kun, Naruto!"

Naruto turned his head to see what the commotion was, "Sakura-chan...?"

As she approached them, the girl leaned forward, hands on thighs, "The villagers... they-" she panted.

Sasuke immediately had an aura of murderous intent. Interrupting her, he asked, "Where are they?"

Surprised at how he instantly knew what was going on she answered, "They were running after me in the streets when they found out I was apart of this team. They're on their way here, looking for Naruto."
