Sakura groaned feeling pain searing through her muscles. Kakashi wasn't lying when he said he wouldn't go easy on her. She wasn't particularly good in the physical department but rather the mental department of being ninja. On her trip back to her training area, the young kunoichi caught a glimpse of a mop of blonde hair along with raven.
That's Sasuke-Kun and Naruto. I should join them because sensei may be back soon. She thought.
The two boys were far too ahead in the distance for Sakura to join them, and she felt far too tired to run to catch up to them. Instead, she decided to follow them far behind without them noticing her. As her teammates slowed their pace the girl managed to get just a tat bit closer to them. Her sea foam green eyes couldn't help but see something that surprised her. The two had their arms linked, and fingers intertwined. So they were holding hands earlier before as well! She realised.
Suddenly she saw Sasuke pin Naruto against a tree, holding his wrists tightly yet tenderly. For the first time, the cherry blossom haired girl heard them speak. She hid behind a nearby bush, knowing that the boys didn't notice her presence.
"Is everything alright? What happened with you and Sakura? For real." The raven asked the blonde with a concerned tone.
"It's not really important. Sakura-chan just asked me if she should ask you out and I got annoyed."
She saw that Sasuke's handsome features had softened, "Do you really think she won't get rejected? That's nothing to get upset about." Sakura's heart ached a little, hurt at her crush's words.
"I know; I kept telling myself that but..." Naruto's voice trailed off and decided to change the subject, "What about you? You seem pretty pissed off about something too."
"Kakashi is suspicious of us." The pink haired was beginning to get frightened at what she was witnessing. What was going on with these two? Holding hands? Suspicions? The boys having a civilised conversation with one another?
At some point in the conversation Naruto let out melodious giggle, "S-sasuke?"
The Uchiha began to stroke the boy's face gingerly as he whispered into his ear. Soon enough, the two shared a deep kiss. Sakura's pale green orbs widened in shock and fear. She felt her frail shaking body taking steps back as salty tears began to form in her eyes.
Her heart ached. Her dear Sasuke, whom she had admired deeply for years was in a relationship with another. And that other being her teammate, who had become a close friend, Naruto of all people.
"I'll see you later." She heard her stolen beloved say to his lover.
"... Okay."
Her trembling legs moved on their own and ran as fast as they possibly could from the scene.
Ocean orbs saw the pink haired girl sprinting away, tears in her eyes.
"Sakura-chan!" He called out, "H-hey, Sakura-chan!"
Sakura ignored Naruto's calls and dashed past Sasuke, not even caring if she was being seen.
He looked stunned when he saw her, "... Sakura?"
Soon, a panting blonde ran beside him, "Sasuke... I-I think she saw us..."
"Oh no..." the Uchiha muttered bitterly under his breath.
"Do you think... we should catch up to her...?"
Sasuke thought for a while, "I'm not sure... I think she needs some time on her own."
Naruto nodded in return.
"Hey guys, have any of you seen Sakura?" Kakashi appeared from behind them.
The boys grew very pale and sweat began to appear on their foreheads, "Uhm, are you okay?" The others didn't answer.
Their sensei knitted his grey eyebrows and frowned behind his mask, "Alright, what have you two done?" He asked in a more professional, stern tone.
"Uhm, we... well we saw Sakura-chan run off crying...?" Naruto answered as his sweaty facial features were trembling.
"Why, exactly?"
"W-we don't know! Why are you looking at us like that?!" Sasuke yelled out of nowhere.
Kakashi simply sighed, "Look, its obvious you two are dating."
"EH?!!" Faces flaming a burning red, the boys shrieked in shock at what they just heard.
"She saw you kissing, am I correct?" The grey haired man stated blankly.
"EHHHHH??!!!" Their screams were so loud that they echoed and could be heard from the meat restaurant where Team Ten sat.
"What the heck was that?!" Choji, a plump sandy brown haired boy wondered with slices of meat stuff in his mouth. His chubby cheeks with a single red swirl on each one puffed out.
His teammate, Shikamaru, a boy with black hair in a ponytail making it look like a pineapple didn't really give a damn in the matter, "It's probably Naruto being an idiot like always." He replied boredly, resting his hand on his cheek.
A light blonde headed girl in a bun named Ino hummed in agreement as she stared out the window, observing the streets of the village. Amongst the pathway cluttered with shop stands she saw her pink haired frenemy sprinting through crowds looking terribly upset. Her icy blue eyes widened from the slight surprise, "Huh? Sakura?"
Shikamaru gave her a confused look in return, "Sakura?"
"I-I saw her outside crying; I hope everything is alright..." Ino replied worryingly.
Their sensei, Asuma, cigarette in hand said, "You should go and comfort her. She's your friend isn't she?"
"Pssh! Me and forehead? Friends? Sensei, I think you need to get your facts right!"
"We get that you two aren't friends anymore because of Sasuke, but you should really go to her because Sasuke has nothing to do with this!" Choji suggested, as he finally stopped eating.
Ino's ice blue orbs stared at the wooden table stacked with empty dishes with the help of Choji, lost in her thoughts, "I'm going." She stated as she abruptly stood up and chased after her friend. The piercings on the cloth of her purple crop top along with her hoop earrings swayed from the movement.

Hey guys! Since I've last checked, this story is slowly getting more and more reads. Thanks for that!
I had a lot of fun writing this chapter. Due to Sakura's outburst, it gave me the opportunity to introduce Team Ten into the story. "Choji" kept autocorrect to "choking".I feel as though my writing has been improving a lot and I'm beginning to actually develop a proper writing style. I hope you think so too.
Btw, a SakuIno moment is on the way! (Yuri, yay!!)
