A Leak in the World.

Chapter Thirteen

Heheh umm theirs gonna be some fluff in this chapter... maybe a bit more that that....

the sweet taste of human blood poured into his mouth. Everyone's blood tasted different, but Ladybug's, Hers was different. It sent a shiver down her spine. It tasted of sugar and apples, and a hint of chocolate. Her blood was the closest the real food he had had in a very long time.

Ladybug made a not very appropriate noise when Adrien bit her. Ladybug was so imbarrased that she didn't even feel it. Omg omg omg what is happening. Ow!.. that dosent hurt as much as I thought it would.

One the strong urge for blood ceased a bit, Adrien soon realized what he was doing and pushed her away, fighting himself. Ladybug noticed that his eyes were red. Like they were when he was first changed. Ladybug put a hand to her throat, there he bit her. It wasn't bleeding much. "A-Adrien?" She tried to say, but it came out as a cracked squeak.

Adrien looked... odd . He was twitching, blood dripping from his mouth. He violently shook his head as if he could shake it off, when he looked at Ladybug with his eyes now back to green he stared at her in fear. Not of her, but of himself.

Adrien backed away from her. He pulled his legs up to his chest and buried his head between his legs. Ladybug wanted to say something, comfort him, but nothing came to mind. Come on Ladybug you have to do something! Ladybug stood up and walked over to him and moved to put a hand on his shoulder. " No!" Adrien removed himself from her perimeter, now huddled in the corner.

" No! You cant- I. Go." Ladybugwas confused. "What?" "You cant be here. Please, leave" Adrien begged "No, Why would I leave?" Ladybug took a step forward, the fear in his eyes grew. " I- I don't want to hurt you" "Adrien! Im not leaving!" "Ladybug! Im too dangerous! Please! Leave before I hurt you again!" She realized he was being serious. He never used her superhero name. Ladybug chuckled a little, than stopped as it became a sad frown.

She hated it when someone was sad. Especially him. He looked different. Their was no more charm to him. He looked broked and lost. Ladybug was immediately in front of him holding him by the shoulders, slightly shaking him.

" I don't care! Im not leaving you in this state!" She half yelled. He hesitantly looked up at her, tear ducts filling with salty tears. "Adrien, I... I love you. Im not leaving you. Not like this." The fear In Adriens eyes Slowly diminished. " W- What?" Then Ladybug did something Marinette would never have to courage to do. She kissed him.

This startled him, but didn't pull away. He couldn't. How could he? Adrien's hands slowly came up to her the nape of her neck and tears continued to well up in his eyes. It was becoming too much for him, he couldn't keep it in. He let it all go. The barrier broke, and his tears burst forth. Tears rolled down his face and got mixed up in the kiss. She could taste the salty liquid.

There was so much emotion in this kiss. This was a kiss like no other. There was hurt, pain, loneliness, and love. Ladybug could feel his pain. She finially understood. She had never thought one person could carry this much baggage, so much weight of a past life. It brought tears to her eyes. She broke away, panting for air and embraced him." Im so sorry. Im sorry." Ladybug whispered. They were both crying now. The weight of ones life crushed both of them. Adrien burried his head in her neck. "Were going to fix this. I promise." He had never felt more helpless. He felt three again, when he had a bad nightmares, he would run to his mom, and she would sing him lullabies until he fell asleep. Adrien gave her a small smile. He dropped his hands and fiddled with hos thumbs im his lap.?9"How? How are we going to fix this?" She pulled away and placed her forehead on his. "I don't know. But Im not giving up on you." Adrien couldn't speak. He had no words. But he didn't need them. He now knew another way to let her know what he was feeling. Adrien tilted his head up so that their lips met. Then they were talking without words.

Adrien shared his pain, hurt and hopelessness with her, and she shared her hope, and her faith with him. Adrien's hands slid up from where they were resting on his lap, and moved to her hips, sliding up to her shoulder's. This sent shivers of shocking please throughout her body. Ladybug blushed exponentially and wrapped her hands around his neck. They pulled away and placed their forehead's together again. Adrien placed a hand over her heart, feeling its strong beat.

"L-Ladybug? C-could you sing me a song?" He felt so stupid and childish, asking a question like that. " Of course." Ladybug pulled away, and leaned against the wall next to Adrien. He laid down on her lap, and pulled his sheet over him, like a young child. She rubbed slow circles on his back with one hand, and with the other she stroked his soft hair. Sadly she was unable to feel it. She took a deep breath and begun to sing.

Ladybug looked down to see Adrien, soft asleep in her lap. She smiled, he was so cute when he slept. She remembered the few times when she had come over to check up on Adrien, seeing him asleep, cuddled in his blankets. She felt a weight on her eyelids. Ladybug closed her eyes and joined him in slumber.

Adrien woke up to see sun shining through the window. A hiss escaped his lips and he moved away from the beams of light. He reached for his remote and pushed a button, the windows went dark. Adrien moved and sat at the edge of his bed. He felt a bump under the mattress, and slipped his hand between the material. He felt a cold hilt and pulled the object out. If Adrien had or needed breath, he would have been breathless. It was a black and red ladybug spotted hunting dagger. He closed his eyes. " Plagg?" His little black kwami flew in front of his face. " Yes?" " Im giving you up." Adrien moved to pull his ring off. " Wait! Why? Whats going on?" "Plagg, If I told you you would try to stop me. Im sorry. Goodbye." " Wai-" Plagg never finished his sentence, because Adrien had slipped his ring off, and placed it into his miraculous box.

"Maybe i really was meant to die."

He whispered.
