I wake up, groggy with a splitting headache. I sit up and look around, realizing I'm still in Eli's room. I shiver from the cold. Where's my shirt? The memories of last night flash through my mind, and I cover my face out of embarrassment. I lift the blanket and sigh out of relief. I'm still wearing pants.

Nothing bad happened last night, right? We didn't do anything, so everything is fine. I freeze as I realize the hand I just touched to my face has something sticky on it. I'm not gay, right? That means my dad was right. Maybe I'm bi?

I look over the bed to see Johnis shifted to his side while he was asleep. I look down and Eli's arm is over my waist. I look over to see him sleeping peacefully. How am I gonna face him now? That's so embarrassing.

My phone dings and I pick it up. "The red-haired girl from your first day, Katey Harris. Tomorrow." From Boss. I understand immediately. I almost forgot about it. "Ok." I text back. "Who're you texting so early?" I hear from behind me. I look to see Eli looking at me tiredly. My heart begins to pound. "M-My cousin?" I say.

"Okay, I believe you." He says. He pulls me back down to the bed. "It's too early." He says, cuddling to me. "It's 9 am," I say.

"Still too early." He says. "Wait, 9 am?" I say slowly. The realization hits both of us quickly. "School started 40 minutes ago!" He shouts, and we both jump out of the bed. I throw my shirt on. I shake Johnis violently. "Johnis! Wake up! We're late for school!" I say loudly.

He sits up quickly. "What? Where am I?" He says, confused. "Just get up!" I say, pulling him off the floor. "Hurry!" Eli says. Johnis and I put our shoes on quickly. We run out the door, grabbing our backpacks.

"Mom! Why didn't you wake us?" Eli says loudly. "You didn't hear the news?" She says calmly. "What?" He says, confused. "School is canceled until Monday. Since that Howard boy died and it's too snowy out there." She says, sipping whatever is in her mug.

"I'm going back to bed." He says, dropping his bag and going back up the stairs. I follow him and Johnis follows me. "Uh, not to be weird but," Johnis says when we get to Eli's room. "How'd I get here? I was with Serena just last night." Eli and I look at each other. "No, you weren't. She canceled on you and you spent the night at Eli's." I say. "Really?" He says. "Yeah," Eli says.

"Well I'm gonna tell my mom to pick me up, I live down the street by Kei." He says, going back downstairs, closing the door behind him. As soon as he's gone, Eli pushes me against the wall, pinning my wrists to the wall and slamming his lips onto mine.

I'm taken off guard, but I accept it. He lifts my leg with one hand as he pulls me closer. He pulls away, licking his lips as he catches his breath. He presses his lips to my neck and pushes his hand up my torso again. He bites the bottom of my neck a noise accidentally escapes my mouth.

We both stop and listen before we hear Eric say "Are you, boys, alright?" Eli and I look at each other before Eli says "Yeah, Kei stubbed his toe on my desk." And we hear Eric laugh.

Eli picks me up fully, pushing me against the wall. He kisses my collar bone and I feel my face get redder and redder by the second. I feel his hands go from around my lower back to my butt.

"E-Eli. We n-need to stop." I say, breathlessly. "Okay." He says, kissing my neck before letting me down. "I'm not gonna force you to do anything." He says, smiling at me. "Thanks," I say, looking away, embarrassed.

He presses himself against me, kissing my cheek. "Anything for you." He whispers. I swallow hard. He chuckles. "Don't be so uptight." He says as he backs away. "But," he points down. I look down and my embarrassment grows. He sticks his tongue out at me. "I, uh, don't know what to do in this situation," I say. He chuckles. "Wanna play some video games?" He says. "Yeah, I do," I say.
