That day.

When I woke up, it seemed a bit late. When I looked around for a clock and spotted one, it was only 5 pm. I had been asleep for two hours.

I looked around, I didn't see anyone in sight. I spotted a note on the bedside table and I immediately saw Roger's writing.

Went to get the movers to get the kid's beds. Be back around 6.

Hm alright. That gives me a bit more time for myself. I decided I'd look around since I was living in this huge house.

I wonder how many bedrooms it was? I went upstairs and downstairs to count how many bedrooms and bathrooms I saw.

Holy. Shit. Ten bedrooms and eight bathrooms.

While counting, I saw the nursery Roger was talking about, and it was downstairs which made it even better. He was right, it was beautiful. Better than the one we had done by ourselves in our old home.

The kids had already picked their rooms, and wrote their names in messy scribbles on paper and put it on the doors.

I chuckled as I entered each other their rooms, and of course, they all had bathrooms.

I then went back down the huge stairs and went to the kitchen, which was bigger than anyone I had ever seen.

This house was bigger than my mum and stepfathers house.

This is the life I had as a little girl, but not this big. The house I lived in growing up with my horrible mother was tiny compared to this.

I then heard the doors open and laughter as I heard shuffling around lead to upstairs.

"Rog?" I shouted.

"I'm here love," he shouted back.

I went to the foyer where they were, watching the kid's beds get moved upstairs into their rooms.

"I still can't believe you got a huge house," I chuckled.

"Well I needed to prepare us. I needed to prepare for a new baby. I needed to try and buy bigger in case you have twins, but I'd buy anything for you," he whispered.

I gave him a kiss on the cheek before I pulled him into our room while the kids were getting their things unpacked.

"It seems like October is going to be forever," Roger groaned as he sat on the bed.

"But it'll come sooner than you think, I promise," I whispered softly but seductively.

He smirked and pulled me down on top of him as he started sucking on my neck, more than I had expected.

"What did I promise you when we were engaged? I told you I was going to give you children, and that's exactly what I've done," he breathed as he sat up with me still in his lap.

"They're everything to me Rog. I remember when we went to Paris, god everything felt so perfect. I remember the day you stood in the doorway of my flat Freddie paid for my god." I chuckled.

"I remember it as if it were yesterday, you were so awkward," he chuckled louder.

"Says you!" I shouted back as I was dying of laughter.

"Did you just call my pretty. Did you just call me love," Roger mocked.

"Oh shut up! You were awkward after the date even happened," I jokingly scoffed.

He rolled his eyes and collected his lips to mine, making more heat in the moment.
